Katherine - POV

I was nowhere. Yet I was everywhere. I wasn't here nor there, stuck between two realms. Reality drifting further away each passing second. Hearing a sexy voice in my head, before giving into the darkness that awaited me.

Blackness is how I described it. Here I was trapped. I can go nowhere. I was nothing. I was trying to take in my surroundings as best as I could. Then something zipped past me. Searching the darkness for it's owner. The forest looked different. It looked eerie. No longer providing the peace I constantly searched for. Now, I felt like I was a trespasser and was being watched carefully. The trees bunched so close together giving the illusion of iron bars in a prison cell. Making me feel trapped in place that was once so beautiful. The leaves of the trees covered my view of the sky. Making the darkness grow larger still.

"Hello sweetheart. " I turned to face the monstrous voice lurking behind me. Bright green eyes coming towards me. I started backing up. Realizing what I was doing. He started to close the gape between us. "Hey, don't be scared. It's going to be like before an-" I ran before he finished.

I couldn't go back to him. Aches started to sear my body as I remembered the pain he conflicted. And realizing that he would do worse when he catches me. I shifted trying to get further away from him. My fears got the better of me as I started to sob. My wolf and I veering in and out the iron bars trying to cage me. Just as I felt free, he was there. Standing in front of me as his brown wolf. "Where do you think your going?" He growled at me and lunged forward. Trying to pin me down. I moved away a second before he landed. And the game was on.

I sprinted away from him, trying to get as much distance between us as possible. Weaving through trees, squeezing under logs. Taking sharp turns here and there. But I couldn't get that distance. I could hear him coming closer and closer. Determination in his stride, as if I was his prey. He lunged a second time. And succeeded on hitting his target. "You need to learn a lesson. And I'm going to teach you. " He said baring his teeth as he growled at me. Letting my mind think of all the things he was going to do.

I tried frantically to get out from under him. I only succeeded in exposing my back to him. He started to scratch my back with his three inch long claws. Making me scream in pain. He did nothing but laugh. To him this was amusing. To him it was a game he got pleasure out of. Then he started to maul me. My blood curdling scream was ineffective to him. As he ripped flesh off my back. The pain being unbearable, I blacked out. More darkness covering my mind.

Damon - POV

Watching her beautiful body tremble like that scared the shit out of me. Evan dressed her and then placed her on my bed. I had the pack doctor come in to see if she was okay. Apparently everything is fine and she's just dreaming. Well I'm sorry I am freaking out! And sorry for being protective of her! But she's my mate I'll do anything for her.

As she laid in my bed, looking absolutely amazing. My mind couldn't help but wonder off to the things I wanted to do to her. My thoughts were interrupted with a scream. I was instantly by her sweating side trying to soothe her. She clutched my blood red sheets. Tossing and turning, screaming her little heart out. I held her still. And moved her blond hair from her eyes. She was remarkable. Every last feature was breathtaking.

But I had to focus on waking her up. "Babe wake up. Come on Katie wake up." She inhaled deeply and woke with a startle. Fear filled her expression. Instantly I wrapped my arms around he, pulling her to my chest. Trying so hard to calm her. I didn't want her to be scared of anything. I whispered in her ear. "It's okay babe,your okay. I'm here no one will hurt you. Shhhh"

I was rubbing her back trying to slow her tears. "Did you want to talk about it babe?" Yeah I think I'll mainly call her babe. She started to cry again. But then took in a frantic breath.

"He's coming".
