I woke up a little later than I expected. It was already eight and my alarm didn't ring. Wait. I am not in my house. I an in the house of Samson Brooks. I got up and checked and there was a note at the door. I walked to it and took it.

Breakfast is in the dinning room. Third room second floor. Come immediately you wake up. Guests are waiting
Samson.

Guests are waiting. What the! I went into the closet and took one nice dress and wore matching sandals then I headed to the dinning room. I opened the door and saw Alfred Anderson and his Fiancée Vanessa. Alfred whispered something into Samson's ear and they started laughing.

Why were they laughing? Was it how I looked or was it something else.

If it was how I looked Vanessa would have been the one to laugh not the guys. I walked over and Samson pulled a chair next to his and asked me to sit. There were a lot of foods on the table. I served myself and we started eating. Just then, Vanessa asked "who is the person behind Amy Ross"

What the! I have nothing about my life to be proud of. I worked as a girl who brewed coffee at a grand company. Wait. The owner of the company is at the table with me. I never went to college. I have nothing to say. Think fast Amy.

"No one. Just an ordinary girl without much to say about herself" I said. "Wow! What work do you do and where do you stay?" She asked.

What is this girl aiming at? Why is she asking so much questions?

I guess Samson noticed I was nervous. He held my hand and said "She was a model but since she is going to become my girlfriend I asked her to stop modelling and stay home but she refused so I have decided she would lock herself up in Andertoph as Alfred personal secretary"

Thank God. But wait. Why is he lying to protect my image. I am just a poor jobless girl who lives in a tenement house in a bad and dangerous neighbourhood. Croods is not a neighborhood to be proud of.
"She used to stay in one of the apartments in the city but since we are going to be together she will be moving in" he added. Vanessa looked satisfied. "We would be great friends then" she said.

Great friends with the girl whose fiance I was making out with yester night in a restroom at her own engagement.
