Alex's POV
I stretch out wincing slightly from the pain in my back. I sit up and looks around before the memory hits me. Last night I was bit by a vampire. I gasp and jumps up out of the chair. Which was a bad idea. I fall to the ground for my leg is asleep. " ahh.. good god.." I stand up slowly then runs into the bathroom pulling my hair to the side and staring at the bite mark on my neck. " oh come on.." I stare at the blue and purple spot on my neck with two little holes in the middle. My stomach growls and i let my hair fall back into place. I walk out back into the hospital room and stares at my mom sighing I walk out into the hallway looking around. I walk down to the hospitals cafeteria and pushes the door open walking to the kitchen. I look around moving empty cans and boxes out of the way looking for something to eat. I finally grab some crackers and a can of soup. I quickly find a bowl and pour the soup into it throwing it in a microwave. I open the microwave before it beeps so I don't draw attention if any vampires are somewhere in the hospital. It's extremely quiet as I walk back to the room. Once I get back to the room I sit back in the chair and start eating watching my mom.
Aiden's POV
I smell Alex's blood and hear her walking down the hallway. I look around before quickly diving into an empty room. She soon passes heading towards the cafeteria. I must seem like a stalker being in the hospital. But I just don't want her getting hurt or killed by another of my kind. After she passes I slowly make my way out of the room and follows her quietly making sure no one touches her. Once she gets in the kitchen I go across the hall into another room waiting for her to come out. As she walks out I smell the stench of soup. I sigh and follows after her once she passes.
No ones POV
Once it got dark Alex got up from her chair and glances at her mom before walking out of the hospital and to the alley way that she was attacked by the vampire, Aiden, to see if she could get him to come out again. Meanwhile, Aiden follows after her in the shadows trying to avoid her line of sight. Alex senses that someone is following her and has a chill whipping around searching the shadows as Aiden hides behind a dumpster.
Alex's POV
I'm fine. No ones following me..right? I turn around and walk into the alley. It's quiet until I hear a can rolling across the ground and a small groan before it all goes quiet again. I clear my throat "h-hello? Mr.Vampire is that you?" I face palm and shakes my head. "I'm talking to nothing.." I sigh and look around before sitting on the ground. What am I doing out here? Am I really waiting on a vampire? What's wrong with me.. I should be running. I hear a trash can rattle behind me and a small chuckle. "Well well princess.. You've came back". I'm grabbed from behind and pushed up against the wall of the alley the strangers knee going between my legs so I can't move.
