Omniscient POV

Marley and Caroline sit in the waiting room of the hospital. "I don't think he did it." She said.

"They were the only two in the house when the police arrived. He had to!" Marley argued.

"But, seeing the way they react with each other, I'd put money down that he didnt do it." She told him.

"Family of YN?"

"That's us." Marley said to the doctor.

"Well, she is in a coma. We don't think she'll make it. The puncture was too deep and we did perform surgery, but we dont know if it worked or not. You can say your last goodbyes." Caroline collapsed in Marley's arms.

Caroline was quick to run in the room. "Lovie? Are you there?" She wasn't sure, but she thinks she saw YNs finger twitch. "I love you, baby. Please come back to me. You can't leave me like this. This isn't the end." She started to sob uncontrollably. "Baby! I miss you already." She dried some of her tears. "You know what this reminds me of? When you were a little girl and you would play sleep. I always sang the same song to get you to wake up. I. I. I can't do it." She ran out of the room.

"YN? I know you don't like me to much." Marley started to talk, "but, I love you more than you'll ever know. I have tried so much to make you love me. You know, how much we have had Mexican dinner because I know that it is your favorite? I don't even like Mexican." He chuckled. "I bet you don't know that the car you drive to and from school was officially yours. It was a gift from me. Your first day of school and you drove, Courtland came and told me you took the keys I told her not to worry and that you'd be fine." He paused. "I also know how much you mean to your mother. Don't leave her. Don't leave us. I love you, YN." He kissed her lightly on her forehead.

After an hour, Marley went to the police station to get Ray. He had to pay a fine, and he put Ray on punishment for the rest of his life. When they got back to the hospital, Ray ran to YNs room.

"What song did you sing?" He asked Caroline.

"What?"

"My dad said that you used to sing her a song."

"It was 'Weak' by SWV."

I walked into her room. "Bae? Bae? I love you. It wasn't me. It was her. She tricked me. She said she was coming to apologize to you. Thats the only reason i let her in. You know I love you! I wouldn't do that to you or to the relationship that we have." He grabbed her hand, sat on the side of the bed, and began to sing. "I don't know what it is that you've done to me. But its cause me to act in such a crazy way." He sang to her. Her heart monitor started to beep faster. "...I get so weak in the knees, I can hardly speak. I lose all control and something takes over me. In a daze you look so amazing, it's not a phase I want you to stay with me." YN opened her eyes and looked at Ray.

"By my side, I swallow my pride. Your love is so sweet it knocks me right off of my feet." She sang softly with him. Her voice was very raspy and low. They didnt finish the song because he bent down to kiss her.

He pulled away and looked her in the eye. "How much of that did you hear?"

"All of it. I love you too." She told him. Ray pressed the nurse button.

A nurse walked in with a clipboard. "YN? You're up!! Call the doctor!" She said screaming into the hallway. Their parents ran into the room and hugged her tight.

"I love you, too, Marl- Dad." She told him. He shed a tear hearing her say that. "You too Madre."

"Aww. Lovie." The doctor walked in and saw YN up.

"This is a miracle. Just a couple hours ago, we couldn't save you. Look at you. Praise God. This was truly one of his works." The doctor said. "Of course, we have to keep you here for tests, and to make sure you are very stable. You guys should go get some rest. She'll be safe with me."

"I'm not going anywhere without her." Ray said. He stretched out on the couch. The doctor asked the nurse to bring Ray a pillow and some sheets.

Their parents went home but came right back with their phones and clothes for Ray. YN was stuck in a hospital gown.
