after he calmed her down, he asked her to explain everything what just happened. "well, my family is full of secrets. my secret is that I'm full of demons, demanding to come out. I'm not sure about my family because we never let anyone know our secrets." she said, "i promised myself to never tell anyone. not even my own family." his breathe was shaky. "wow, i had no idea." he said. she laughed. "yeah, no kidding. you don't know anything else about me. if you did, you would've ran a long time ago." she said.

he shook his head. "i wouldn't. even if i knew your darkest secrets. never in my damn life would i run away from you. the girl i've been falling far since the first time i've laid eyes on you." he honestly spoke. he was afraid of her rejecting him. "wow. that was, no one has ever said those things to me." she said looking down. when she looked at him, he smiled. "your eyes, their back to normal." he said.

she took out her phone and saw that he was right. she smiled. "thank you." she said. he was confused. "for what?" he asked. she smiled again. "for never leaving me, even when i was pushing you away." she said grabbing his hands. her hands were like baby hands compared to his, and he thought it was adorable. "tomorrow, when we go back to school, do you want to make this official?" he asked, embarrassed. she blushed and smiled. "i'd love to, but then people would tease and pick on you. i don't want that for you." she said.

he shook his head. "i don't care. all i care about is being with you, and only you." he said. he loved her. he loved the way her nose would crinkle every time she laughed, her laugh, just her in reality. tomorrow was going to be amazing because he could call her his now. just like the first time they met, he wanted to make her his.

next morning

she woke up with happiness, which of course was rare for her family. she remembered that she was now dating nate maloley. she brushed her teeth, got dressed, and did her hair. she let her down, wavy of course, some black skinny jeans, and a crop top, with some heels. for her makeup, she just put some mascara, eyeliner, and a nude lipstick.

she went downstairs and saw that no one was home, but a note on the fridge.

dear mila,
i've decided to go find a job, so i headed out earlier than usual. there is some pancakes waiting for you on the table. hope you have a nice day at school.

she was happy that her mom was looking for a job. when she headed out the door, she saw him waiting outside for her in his car. she smiled and skipped towards his car. "hellooo." she said dragging out the 'o'. he smiled and laughed. "get in weirdo." he said. she jumped in and they were off to hell.

she was nervous of what people were going to say when they saw her with the captain of the football team. she was a nobody. no one noticed her, but everybody noticed nate. he noticed she was tensed. he grabbed and rubbed her hands. "it's going to be alright. as long as i'm with you, nothing will happen." he said kissing her hand. she smiled.

when they finally reached the school parking lot, everybody was staring. when she walked out, everybody was staring at her now. she wasn't used to all the attention. "here it goes." she said.
