Lucy's Pov

I pushed my apartment door open and dropped my bag of dirty clothes on the floor. I had just finished up my third mission with Erza and Wendy today. No Natsu or Gray it was a girl's only job this time. And let me tell you, very annoying the client was a man that wanted us to dress up as nurses and maids to cheer his depressed grandson up. I think they were just perverts and the weird thing is I believe Erza enjoyed it.

Lucy: NARUTO I'm BACK

I listen for him but heard nothing.

Lucy: maybe he went on a job

I closed the door and began to peel out clothes and headed for my bathroom. As I walked into my bedroom in just a bra and panties I saw a note on my bed. I picked it up to read

Lucy,

Hey little sis, I'm sorry I'm not there to greet you from your third job, but I got called out to do my own mission and this one is going to take 3 weeks. I know that is a long time to leave you alone but I asked Gray to come by and check on you from time to time just to make sure things are going okay. I'm going to miss you, I left some money under my bed in my room for you if you want to go do anything. Oh I also wanted to tell you that Hinata will be checking up on you too. I love you Lucy, please don't do anything dumb while I'm gone

Three week's really? This is the longest he has been gone so far. I folded the letter up and placed it on my desk. I walked into the bathroom and turned the water on. I sighed as the hot water ran over my drained body. Even though that job wasn't a dangerous one that old man and his grandson were really weird. I couldn't help but smile though, things were going great it doesn't even seem like I've been here for a month it's seems like I've been here for my whole life. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. Erza and Wendy they are like my sister's I swear we always do everything together. Natsu he and happy have become like my best friends. My first job was with those two, it wasn't anything special we just went to go burn an old book for someone but it turned out to be totally different in a good way. We stopped a bad guy and cleared a father's name. The second job was with the whole team. It got a little dangerous but we had each other's backs. I smiled as I turned the water off and dried myself. I put some clean clothes on and headed back into the living room

I sat on the couch and touched my drying hair

Lucy: maybe I should do my dirty laundry

I stood up and grabbed my bag of dirty clothes, my apartment keys and headed down to the laundry room in our apartments. As I walked down the stairs towards the door, I stopped when I saw Gray standing in there. He must have heard me because he looked up from the drier

Gray: hey back from your job

Lucy: yea

I walked in and squeezed past him to the other washer

Gray: well how was it?

Lucy: (rolling eyes) annoying

Gray: (smirking) really why?

Lucy: because it was two perverts that wanted us to play dress up and make them smile. That was pretty much it

Gray: but you got paid

Lucy: yea

Gray: then why are you complaining

Lucy: (annoyed) well because they made us dress up as nurses and maids, it was very degrading
