*Hayes Pov*

"Maddie !!" I yelled.

She turned to face me.

"Hayes !!" We ran towards each other and engulfed one another into a hug.

"it's nice to finally meet you." I said still hugging her.

"it's nice to finally meet you." she said back.

We eventually released the hug and we walked to the other guys.

"So this is the famous maddie we keep hearing about." Cam said. "I'm Cameron, but you can call me Cam." He continued and kissed her hand. I'm not gonna lie, I tensed up.

The other guys introduced themselves and then we all went to our reserved section. Maddie said that she was going to walk around while me and the guys met fans. the whole time I just kept thinking about maddie. it's like when I'm near her, I feel as if we were the only people in the world. Her personality is amazing. She's not like other girls. She's unique. Is it possible to fall in love with someone you just met?

*Maddie Pov*

As I was walking around, I got a text from Matt and an unknown number.

Matt : Hey! Your lover boy keeps zoning out. What do I do?

Maddie : I don't know. Slap him?

Matt : ok. (: Brb fans keep coming and coming!

Maddie : That's what fam does to you.

Matt : true. I'll see you later

Maddie : ok. Peace ! :)

Matt : Peace ! :)

Unknown : Hi

Maddie : Who's this?

Unknown : You really don't know?

Maddie : Um, no sorry

Unknown : It's Dylan ;)

Maddie : How did you get my number?

Dylan : It doesn't matter how I got it.

Maddie : What do you want?

Dylan : I wasn't done with you maddie

When I was as at my old High school in Canada, me and Dylan dated. It lasted about four months. I broke up with him.

*Flash back*

It was my first day at Canada High. I had no idea what I was doing. When I walked to my locker, being the clumsiest person ever, I dropped all of my stuff. but a guy helped me pick them up.

"Thanks." I said awkwardly.

"No problem. I'm Dylan." He smiled.

" I'm Maddie." I smiled back.

Me and Dylan soon started dating and we were voted 'Cutest Couple'. But what they didn't know was that Dylan would always abuse me. I would always wear long sleeve shirts and jeans so that no one would notice the bruises.

Soon my parents found out and changed my phone number and moved to LA.

*End of flash back*

Maddie : Go away

Dylan : No

After he sent me that last text, I blocked his number and deleted the conversation.

I was starting to tear up so I ran to the restrooms.

*Hayes Pov*

We finished up the meet and greet and so I texted maddie so we could meet up.

Hayes : Hey

Maddie : Hey

Hayes : Where are you?

Maddie : Near the restrooms

Hayes : You okay?

Maddie : Yeah

Hayes : Ok, see you in a bit.

Maddie : Okay

I put my phone in my back pocket and walked to the restrooms.

When I got there, I saw maddie. But she had redness under her eyes like if she'd been crying.

"Hey." she faked a smile.

"Hey." I smiled. "You sure you're okay?" I added.

She nodded. But then tears started to form in her eyes.

*Maddie Pov*

"Hey." I faked a smile.

"Hey." He smiled. "You sure you're okay?" He added.

I nodded. But then tears started to form in my eyes.

"It's okay. I'm here if you need to talk." Hayes said pulling me into a hug.

I told him about Dylan and Hayes kept saying that Dylan's not going to hurt me as long as I'm with him. I believed him.
