Truth was sitting in front of him. Wait. Truth? How did he get to the gate?
"My my I didn't think you would last this long. Really I thought you would be killed in the first two years."
Ed opens his mouth to scream at it, but found that he couldn't.
"Oh well. You are never getting your brother back, Edward Elric. He has already moved on from this life."
At that moment, Edward's world came crashing down on him. Al was gone,dead, and he was responsible.
"Also, for causing me so much trouble of keeping tabs on you for years, you will have a surprise waiting for you when you wake up." Truth smiled, a horrific smile.
Edward tried to scream in pain, the pain of being deconstructed and reconstructed.

"Come on-"

Ed woke up, breathing heavily, and silently crying. He looked at everything in the room, realizing the horrific nightmare he had. He looked at the body, that lay next to him.
Roy.
His gold colored tail wrapped around his leg, trying to be soothing. His ears lay flat, camouflaged in his hair.
He thinks about his ears and tail.Truth gave him these three months ago when he woke up from the Gate.
"Mmh. Nightmare,Ed?"
He looks at Roy, who is looking at Ed with his onyx eyes.
"Y-yeah."

'Hey Ed'
'What do you want,bastard?'
Ed looks at Roy from his hospital bed.
'I........I'
'Come on. Spit it out.'
'I love you, Edward Elric.'
Ed's cheeks flush deep red.

Edward remembered that moment. He smiled then laid back down.
After a while, Ed spoke.
"Hey, Roy?"
"Yeah Ed?"
Roy looked at Ed,who had a deep blush
on his face. Ed was looking away.
"I.....I love you too, you bastard."
