We followed Magmis as he led us through the hallway
"So, Magmis," Jack said "how many Elementalists exactly are there?"
Magmis's expression turned grim "Not much. Enough to count with your hands."
Ryan whistled "Wow. Things really change after years."
Magmis nodded "Yes, they do. This... threat is the main reason for this."
"I'm sure you cant tell us what that is either." I said
Magmis nodded "I'm sorry. But that information is not mine to share. Maybe the council could tell you."
"Can you tell us more about the Elementalists?" Amanda asked
Magmis nodded "I can. The Elementalists can controll all of the elements."
"You mean earth, fire, wind, and water?" Ryan asked
Magmis nodded "Yes, but those aren't just the elements. There is also Magic, Shadow, and Energy or Life."
Ryan frowned "I understand Shadow and Energy, but i don't get magic."
"Well," Magmis said "regular mortals never really believed in magic. Thats why they only thought that fire, water, air, and earth were the only elements. But the truth was there were more than those four. Especially since magic is almost uncontrollable. It's unpredictable. Almost more unpredictable than fire."
I frowned "Is it possible to controll all of the elements, Magmis?"
Magmis grew pale "No... Maybe... i-i-i cannot answer that. Ask the council."
He went on ahead. We brisk walked to follow him
"Theyre hiding something." I said "I just know it."
My friends nodded
"We better catch up to him." Jack said
We jogged up to follow Magmis

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We stopped at a big oak door that looked very sturdy even if it was made of wood
"This is the entrance to our council hall." Magmis explained "Our council consists of five councilors. They are our leaders."
The oak doors opened and we saw the room. It looked like a college lecture hall made out of white marble blocks. Seating on the council thrones were five people
Two women and three men
"Councilors," Magmis said with a bow "here are the Chosens as you wished."
One of the councilors with frizzy red hair nodded "Thank you, Magmis. You are dismised."
Magmis nodded. He gave one final smile and turned to leave
Now, we were stuck with five councilors
The frizzy haired councilor smiled "Welcome to Elementa, my young Chosen. We are the councilors. My name is Kenric Demiros."
"Now," said a councilor woman with blonde hair and green eyes "what are your names? I am Oralie."
Um. . . hi." i said "My name's Scarlett Laptev. And these are my friends, Amanda Hail, Jack Pike, and Ryan James."
"How old are you?" The oldest looking councilor asked
"We're all 17." Ryan answered
The oldest one huffed "Great. We're putting the fate of our kind into the hands of teenagers."
"Be quiet, Tyron." Kenric said "The Chosen cannot be, well, chosen by nearly anyone. It is destiny." He turned to us "What are your elements?"
We all panicked. How am i supposed to tell them?
"Well," Ryan said, nervously "I can control Earth. Amanda can control water. And Jack controls Fire."
Kenric faced me "I suppose you control wind?"
I shook head "Not exactly."
Tyron frowned "What do you mean, not exactly?"
I scowled "I mean, i don't controll just wind." I took a deep breath and quickly said "I control all the elements."
Cue the gasps
"Impossible." Tyron mumbled at the same time, Kenric said "The Prophecy!"
I frowned "What?"
Kenric took out a scroll and read:
"One of the Chosen shall take the stand
For peace of war, the choice for a man or woman
A soul to be lost,
a greater cost
The Chosens shall take the final stand,
The only way, hand in hand
Sides will meet, the only way
The war will end with a final say."
"That." Jack said "Is creepy."
"Agreed." Ryan said
"That is the prophecy of the chosen." Kenric explained "Our sacred prophecy ever since the Elementalists have existed."
"Since the dawn of time." Oralie added
"But wait." Amanda said "Why haven't we heard of the Elementalists before?"
"Because the Elementalists work in the shadows." Kenric said "That is how it's always been."
Tyron snorted "The only ones who got all the fame were those Greek and Roman Demigods and not to mention those Egyptian Magicians and their fancy gods."
"Say what now?" Jack said
"Never mind." Kenric said, glaring at Tyron "The important thing is that you four are with us now. You can fulfill the prophecy of the Chosen and stop the threat."
I finally couldn't stand it "You keep mentioning a threat and how we have to fight it and stop it or whatever. Can somebody please tell us what it is?"
"This threat..." Councillor Kenric said with a pained expression "Is nothing like we've ever faced before. It is a rebel group of Elementalists. They're purpose is to stop the prophecy from happening. They want to harness the powers of the Chosen, since they're powers are even more powerful than anyone else. Espesially the Chosen one."
Oh, joy. I have a bounty on my head.
"They are the main reason why the elementalist population has decreased over the years." Oralie said
"Centuries." Tyron corrected "They've assisted almost as long as we have."
"But now, we have you four." Oralie said, smiling "I know this is too much placed on you four's shoulders, but this is destiny. We promise that we will teach you everything there is to know about using your powers. And protect you as much as we can."
That, was very promising. Oralie was kind and caring, and so was Kenric. But Tyron... He was a bit creepy
"Do not worry about this for now." Kenric said "Magmis," Oralie said "Could you please take the children to their quarters?"
Magmis nodded and smiled "Of course." Then he turned to us "Jack, Amanda, Ryan, Scarlett? Please follow me."
