A young women, sitting in the darkness of her wet cell alone. The talking and laughter of her sibling’s echoes in the walls of the house, as it fades away. Her heart becomes heavy with sadness and anger, as her mind aches with pain, as the loneliness tears her apart. The demons inside her keep trying to pull her down under the floor boards, pulling her so low that she can't bring herself back up. Every day the demons bring her down even further.
She waits. While the demons pull her down into the darkness. She still waits for her Savior to come back for her. She waits, hoping that her master would bring her back,
out of the hands of the demons, out of the darkness and back into the light.
Every day that goes by, her world becomes a little colder and darker. She feels lost with no idea where to go. She struggles to remember the voice she used to follow. Belief of abandonment sweeps over her. Her heart becomes colder and darker as she feels more lost and unloved. Her thoughts become uncontrollable like a speeding freight train that loses control on the tracks. Her heart starts to sink down into her stomach as it starts to turn to cold hard stone. Her mind is filled with anger and despair as she begins to harm herself. With Every slice across her flesh, she believes it is what she deserves.
She has almost lost all hope in her Saviour to save her. She screams out to her Saviour to save her, but all she can hear is an echo in her mind. She can see nothing but darkness…she is almost gone. She struggles to focus on the little light she has left, it’s almost gone. She begins to panic her eyes feel tired and heavy with the amount of tears she has cried. Her heart begins to slow down to the point where she can feel and hear every single heartbeat. Heartbeats that feel like they’re upon bursting.
The pain becomes too much for her to handle. Her eyes are blood shot from the amount of tears she has cried…anger and despair sweeps over her once again as she harms herself once more…the little light she has left starts to flicker, like a candle on a window sill, in the darkness of her world, of her mind, of her jail. She’s helpless…she begins to lose all hope…she allows the darkness to consume her. Convinced that there is nothing left for her…but then…something begins to light up within her…she looks up and stares at the little light in the distant room…the flicking light begins to fade away…as she is consumed more by the darkness…the light has become nothing more than a spark of light…tears begin to run down her face as all she wants is the light to grow…she wants the light to overcome her darkness…she wants her Saviour to save her…she wants to be in the light, out of the darkness and with her Saviour.
She begins to shake with anger n fury, she screams at the pain, in rage. She doesn’t want to live in fear, in darkness, in hell, she wants her Saviour …she wants the light. After screaming at the pain to go away, she looks down and sees that she’s standing. She looks up towards the light to her amazement the light grew; happiness, joy n relief sweeps over her. She walks. Ripping away from the darkness. The light gets bigger. Her determination grows stronger, she finds herself running towards the light. She begins to have thoughts of good...thoughts of her friends of her family. She wants to be out of the darkness, she wants to be happy with them, She wants happiness… She begins to cry tears of joy n happiness. Suddenly the light grows so big that is over comes the darkness. She falls to her knees shielding her eyes with her hands as the light is so bright. The light begins to dim down enough for her eyes to open. She opens them slowly; and sees her Saviour she reaches out to him. He takes her hand and helps her to her feet. She can feel the darkness leaving her, it being ripped away from her body. He hugs her, she embraces him…she’s been saved ...no more living in darkness; she is forever in the light.
