They Just Keep Coming

Chapter 1: The spread

It was a regular day for Maxie. She did what she did in regular mornings. She brushed her teeth, colmed her hair, and ate breakfast. She went to go wake her parents up to watch their favorite show on TV. When they were all settled, they turned the TV on and an alert was on. Caution: There was a Zombirex spread in Lab 207. Stay in your homes, lock your doors, and have something to protect you and your family. And now for News Reporter Samantha, "I am standing right in front of Lab 207, and I am seeing nothing. It may just be a hoax but-- Wait.. What is that? Sir? Are you okay? Do you need help---AHH!" Maxie's parents turned off the TV. "What are we gonna do?" Asked Maxie, terrified. "I.. I dont know.." replied her father. BANG BANG. The gunshots started. Maxie and her parents were terrified, because they lived near Lab 207. Heck, her dad worked there even. They heard banging on their door. "Ahh!" Maxie screamed. Her father came close to the door, with a knife. He looked through the hole to see who it was and- "AHHH!!" He screamed. Those.. things broke the door down and attacked him. "Dad!!! No!" Maxie yelled with tears running down her face. Her mother cried too, but grabbed Maxie's arm and dragged her to the back door which lead to the garage. Her mother grabbed the guns their dad used for training. She also got 2 tanks of gas (did I say that right?), as many bullets as she could find, and threw everything on the back of the truck. She handed Maxie a pistol, that waa fully loaded. She also had a pistol that was almost fully loaded. They both got in the truck, and heard the News on the radio. It was too tragic already, especially when Maxie's dad just died. They turned down the radio, and started driving as far away as possible from Lab 207. "Atleast we made it.." said Maxie. "Sure. We made it. But without your father.." Her mother replied in an angry tone. She looked at Maxie, and Maxie looked at the road. "MOM WATCH OUT!" Maxie yelled. She woke up on the middle of the road. The truck was in great condition, and so were the guns. But where was Maxies mom...?
