It felt cold. Very cold. I knew I was dreaming but this dream was different from the others. It felt icy. Very icy. Like you were trapped in an icebox and it was at the lowest temperature. Everywhere you looked darkness was. I don't know where I was, but I could tell it was either a bricked room or a hallway. It was very quiet. Nothing but the sound of me breathing. At the moment, I was was standing very still and I was feeling around me. All I could feel was very chilled wet walls. I took a step forward and it felt ten times harder. I took another step and that's when I realized my feet were shoeless, wet and cold. My feet were really numb and I could hardly feel them. With every step I took, it felt like I was walking on needles. I just took off running. Don't know where I was headed. I didn't care. I just wanted to be out of here. I ran smack into something. Well more like a "her". She wasn't facing me, but when I ran smack into her it knocked us both down. While down on the ground, I heard both of us breathing really hard. I also heard the sound of crying. She stopped crying and her head whipped up. She spoke then, in a very soft but harsh cruel and disgusting voice. I would always remember that voice. She said, "who's there?!" I couldn't find my voice to speak. It suddenly got much colder in there and I couldn't breathe, that the air itself, had got thicker also when she started talking. She once again asked, "who's there?!" This time louder. And once again I couldn't answer. Next thing I knew was her eyes started to glow a very bright dangerous dark red. If that wasn't scary enough, then the next thing she did was. Her hands/claws found my neck and she started to squeeze and her grip started to tighten. As if she caused it herself, my life's soul started to be drained right out of my body. At the same instant that started to happen I was ripped out of the dream or nightmare. I woke screaming and breathing really hard. After a couple minutes of being like that I finally calmed myself down. It was just a dream. It was just a dream but it felt so real. I finally looked at my clock on my night stand and it was only 2:30 a.m. and I had school in a few hours. Great! It was going to be another day that I was going to be really tired. These dreams just have been getting more and more lively for the last couple of months. It's not like I could tell anyone because they wouldn't understand. They would think I'm crazy. That I lost my mind and lost every bit of sanity that was left within me. But a lot has happened to me. When I was fifteen I lost both my mom and baby sister in a car crash. We were driving to the store one night and this stupid driver blew a red light as we were crossing the road and they hit us. It was horrible. I blanked out and when I woke up all I could feel was pain. I looked over and my mom wasn't moving, her head was gushing with blood. I reached over and tried to wake her up. But she didn't respond. I started screaming and looked in the back seat and my sister was lying there with cuts and lots of blood pouring out of her body. I was calling her name over and over. I finally reached back there and see if I could wake her up. She stirred and finally awoke. She asked what was going on and I was like it will be okay. I finally looked out the window and notice no other car there but I could of swore up and down there had been. My sister got out of the car and looked at my mom and screamed and opened the front door and pulled her out. She was smacking her face telling her to wake up but she wouldn't wake up. My baby sister started balling her eyes out and looked at me and said, "mom is dead". I told her I know and then grabbed the phone and dialed nine one one. They answered and I told them what happened. When they arrived they took my mom's body and put it into a bag and carried her away. My sister then passed out. They then took us to the hospital and hours passed. I was waiting in the waiting room when my dad and brothers showed up. They came straight to me and asked what happened. I went over it again. I started crying and they gave me big hugs. Then my dad asked, "where is your sister is she okay?" I said she passed out and that the doctors was looking over her now. The doctor came out of her room and told us that she's okay and that they are doing test on her. Hours went by as we sat and waited for the doctor to finish with his test. Finally the doctor came over to us and called my dad over to talk to him. Instantly my dad looked over to her room and started to cry. He then came back over to us and told us the news. I lost it right then and there and blamed myself for the whole thing. Months started going by and then them months turned to years and here we are three years later. I shuttered at the memory of that night. I shook the thoughts away and got up off my bed and walked into the my bathroom. I went straight over to the sink and turned on the light. Something caught my eye in the mirror. I looked up and caught my reflection. It looked horrible. I didn't even look like myself. I was very pale and my hair was everywhere. I was sweating a lot. I guess it was understandable since I haven't been getting much sleep lately. So I stop looking at the mirror and turned the water on. I splashed my face with warm water and brushed my hair out. I looked back up at the mirror and notice something different. How could I have missed them? On my neck there were hand/claw markings. I instantly froze up. How can that be? I thought to myself. I knew it felt real but it was only a very bad dream. No! I mentally screamed. It can't be. How is this even possible? Okay calm down Keico! Maybe I just slept on my hands?. Yeah I'll go with that. Man I was super tired but I refused to go back to bed. I couldn't deal with having another nightmare right now. I think I'm just going to take a shower, grab something to eat and watch t.v. Anything but sleep. So I turned and turned on the shower. I made it nice and steamy. I got undress and got in. After my shower I got dressed again and went back in my room and turned the t.v. on. The t.v came on and the news was on. The screen was flashing headlines and pictures. I turned the t.v. up.
