It was lunch time and ken came to the secret bench as asked. When he sat down next to me, we started to talk.
The conversation:
Me: ken before I tell you something, what do you think about us?
Ken: what are you trying to say?
Me: can you just answer my question please?
Ken: I think of us together, pretty good!
I put my hand on his and continued to talk...
Me: how do you truly feel, its okay,you can tell me!?
Ken: (takes a deep breath in) tbh I think of us weird and awkward, it doesn't feel right to me! How about you?
Me: I have the same feeling. Ken you know I love you, and I know you love me but we've been friends for so long, being together doesn't have to give us a title of a relationship, the only title we hold is friendship.
Ken: now I know what we got to do!
Me: yeah, we should break up!
Ken: thank you!
Me: why are you thanking me?
Ken: thank you for being my first!
Me:your welcome
Ken: I got to ask you something?
Me: what?
Ken: do you think dating me was mistake?
Me: I think there was a purpose of dating you
Ken: do you think we'll ever date again, like each other?
Me: maybe someday, just not now!
Ken: okay, I just wondered. Now we have to do the difficult part!
Me: and what is that?
Ken: telling our friends?
Me: oh yeah, you take mine and I'll take yours
Ken: good idea!
We both got up and took each others hands and made our way to our friends, once we got there we did what we said.
His friends and I convo:
Me: hey guys, I got to tell you something?
Harvae: where's ken?
Me: that's what I need to tell you!
Juan: so what is it?
Me: ken and I broke up!
Vailey/Harvae: what!!!
Me: yeah, we worked it out and we thought about it, so we broke up
Harvae: why!!!
Me: it wasn't working out for us, I'm sorry!
Harvae hugs Juan and I walked away.
My friends and kens convo:
Ken: I got to tell you guys something about anna and I?
Everyone: what?
Ken: we broke up just a couple of minutes ago!
Ree: why!!!
Ken: it wasnt working out for us!
Zoella: will you guys date again like each other?
Ken: maybe
Cj: I'm proud of you guys staying strong
Ken: thanks for understanding!
After we told we switched back to our friends. As we talked to our friends ken and I looked at each other across the hall.
