Types of Teachers

Today I decided it was time to start my very own rant book.
So why not start off with something a lot of us can relate to: teachers.
Teachers can be very different, so it's important to lay down the basic species and important information about dealing with them.
Okay, now let's get started~

So first we have the Basics. These are the teachers that just do what they're told. They don't go out of their way to defend you if you make a mistake/get in trouble, or have favorite classes, etc.
But they also don't hate particular students for no reason, or have unnecessarily strict rules either. They always abide by the rules, and don't usually make exceptions unreasonably.

Next we have the Popsicles. These are the teachers that are so cool they sometimes make you feel a little uncomfortable. They sometimes tend to favor the more popular kids and can neglect the not-so-cool kids, but not all of them are like this. Usually, they don't give that much homework and if they do, it's because they have to. They are often young and slightly inexperienced at teaching, so they don't take control of the classroom even when some people are being way too loud/annoying/mean/obnoxious in general (usually the kids they favor)

The Ice Creams are similair to popsicles, but can also be very different. These are the cool teachers that actually care about all of their students. They don't pile on homework but they sometimes have a "whatever you don't finish in class is homework" kind of thing, or just a little. They are willing to make exceptions if something went wrong with your assignment, and actually understand that it is very much possible for your printer to break the night before something is due. They also tend to radiate a warm, soft feeling that the popsicles do not possess.

Now let's talk about the Meanies. These are the ones that aren't strict, they're MEAN. They genuinely hate students and find it necessary to laugh at and/or humiliate a student in front of the whole class or even egg on students laughing at another kid. (Sometimes ice creams or popsicles do this in a joking/humorous way, but the difference is usually quite evident.) They can always find some kind of way to force a punishment onto a student, prove their test answer wrong, blame them for something that's their fault, etc.

Not to be confused with the Meanies, another more negative-toned type of teacher is the Moody Rudy. This is the teacher who's always in a bad mood. They yell at everyone and are extremely unenthusiastic about their jobs. The only thing they focus on throughout the school day is the moment when the bell rings and they can return to the glorious comfort of their homes. Their class/homework assignments are generally pretty boring, like doing a worksheet or reading textbook pages because they can't be bothered to come up with something more creative/fun.

Now we've got the Technology Molly (yes, that's the best I could do) Technology Molly wants EVERYTHING digital. She always requires you to email her the assignment, bring it on a flashdrive, type directly onto the worksheet, take quizzes/test reviews online, read from the online textbook, etc. Normally there wouldn't be a problem with this, until the power goes out, the wifi is down, your computer is broken, or basically any problem involving your laptop/computer/tablet occurs.

And finally, the Stick. This is the teacher that is just strict; not necessarily mean, but she has quite a few rules and likes to have control over the classroom. She does not enjoy a ton of talking in between questions while reviewing something, etc. They never give punishments for no reason other than that they hate the student or be unfair. Just your typical scrict teacher.

Haha no I know this wasn't that entertaining/fun/that much of a rant even but I just wanted to get a chapter up on my first book on this account~ 

well thanks for reading and hopefully an actual book coming up sometime this month? I'm planning on getting atleast 1-3 chapters done by mid-November (yes, it takes me a month to write 1-3 chapters of a story and make a cover) and also maybe a cover shop if anyone's interested xD
