"Before we begin, allow me to give you a brief history of how the world ended." the teacher says to us."in the year 2034 there was an incident. An American carrier was sunk off the coast of Siberia. the american government blamed the Russians for the death of their soldiers and requested that they apologize and pay damages. When the Russians refused the President gave them an ultimatum. "if we do not receive an apology within the next three days, we will consider the sinking of the Armstrong nothing less than a blatant act of war!" The Russians still refused to admit their involvement and refused to apologize. True to his word the president launched an all out Nuclear Assault on the Russians who returned the favor tenfold. every major city was decimated and the country became an isolated wasteland. the Russians believing that because the world just stood idly by as their homeland launched an assault on every major country in the world. within a week the entire world was destroyed and the global population decimated. Years passed and the creatures of the earth began to mutate, and the vegetation came back and overran everything the few humans that survived the war slowly began to build civilizations. Small villages cropped up sparsely usually in neighborhoods left mostly untouched by the bombs and as yet unclaimed by the forests, but most of the nation was reclaimed by the wild." I'm still not sure why we had to go to school, but Im sure glad we did though. Without some of the things i learned from the teachers in my home village i would have died many times over. My name is Hawthorne Clayton and i am an Exterminator.
