3000 to 2000

CHAPTER 2

Over the next few days infants, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly were being murdered in their homes.

'Alright!' said Rodney, clapping his hands together, Rodney was the boss of the SVU's (Special Victims Unit) 'more and more peoples are being murdered! we must find out why and who!' Rodney was a large round guy of the age 45, yet he was very like-able yet lazy and a couch potato. 'yes.. But how are we meant to find the murderer when they're not leaving any clues what so ever?' Camilla says getting nods of agreement from the the other 4. The 5 of them had taken up the job of SVU's when more and more of this brutal stuff kept happening.

Camilla wasn't handling Ella's death well. The 6 had been around death for a long time, having been in the police force for 2 years before their promotion. But nothing prepared them for the death of the person who held them together. 'Surveillance cameras again?' the question was one of the uncertainty, and voice be Willow, who, while brave, was not the most sympathetic woman. They had seen the tape at least 20 times since retrieving it from the kitchen of the Clark residence. The tape had cut off just as Ella entered the kitchen and re-opened in time to see Ella's body hit the ground. Jeremiah's initial reaction had been to tear apart the office, giving Alex a bloody nose by accidentally hitting him in the knows with a book. It had been Willow blue hair flying as she ran to Jeremiah to calm him down.

By now, the tape had little effect on them, though even that small part was enough to set them on edge. It upset Summer immensely, most likely due to the fact that her sister and friend had been both taken away from her within a matter of weeks. 

Camilla who had originally trained for forensic Pathology, had deserved all this from the silence of her corner, a small sectioned off space of the meeting area. Only in recent days had she ventured past the tape to sit at the table. 'Willow, I don't think that's such a good idea.' It was Summer who answered, which surprised Camilla. She had categorised the group, simply because the corner tended to get rather boring, and the 21 year old had little else to do but watch.

Summer was a strong, silent presence, soothing yet hunched beneath the weight of her own grief. Confusion was evident on Willows face, and opened her mouth to speak, only to be silenced by a sharp look from Rodney. Whom Camilla's sister Emeraude often referred to as 'tata face'. Emeraude was older then Camilla by 2 years and was 23.

Camilla was a certified genius, and managed to graduate high school 2 years early. Her parents urged her to be a doctor, a lawyer, anything successful, but hot headed Camilla wanted nothing more than to be a police officer, to change the way the law saw the community. Although, to be fair, she had trained in pathology to appease her mothers wrath. Her training had been completed in record time, 6 months total.

Jeremiah and Ella were in a similar position. They both had superior biography memory, having met at a convention and joined the police together. Camilla supposed that was why her death had hurt him so much. He was alone now. Alex had been the most promising trainee in the academy, shooting through training due to his excellence.

Emeraude was very linguistically talented. She worked as a translator on international jobs, and was assigned to the SVU.

Summer was the daughter of a sergeant, killed in a pre-down raid when a 7 year old threw him a gun, the gun had been intercepted by the mother and shooting him. She was admitted with little training, though was a great shot. Little was known about Willow, and it was likely to stay like that.

The onslaught of disappearances had rooked the  community which was why they were seated at the table trying to find any connection between the so-called-'murders'

'knock, knock' Emeraude entered with a smile. 'Em that defeats the point of knocking.' Camilla said to her flatly. Emeraude gave a curt nod in her direction with courtesy one reserved for a younger sibling. and took a seat to Alex's left. Although Alex was arguing very loudly on the phone with one of his many sisters, whom Camilla assumed to me the oldest of them, Michelle, who was 25 and very much an over bearing presence in Alex's life. 'Shell, Ant's an idiot!, look I've got to go!' the muffled response from the other line was cut by the slamming down of the phone. 'Michelle bothering you?' Jeremiah had taken his seat on Camilla's left, clapping Alex on the shoulder as he went down. Rodney sat entirely still, disdain evident on his rounded face.'Yeah, again!...' Alex said with a heavy sigh. Everyone started talking about the murder discussing what was seen in the locations of the crimes. Nothing came across their minds until Jeremiah yells 'IDIOT!' slapping his hand onto his forehead making everyone look at him in surprise. 'Uhh? Jem? you okay?' Camilla questions 'NO! i just realised something! god dammit!' he yells throughout the room. He stands up and throws the chair he was sitting on down to the ground, 'Do you guys remember that knife at El's place?!' they all nod, 'well! we could've investigated it!! found the fingerprints of the murderer!!' He was saying this all through gritted teeth. 'We could have saved so many lives!! stopped so many murders!!'he started pacing the room growling stuff they could've done if they had investigated.

Alex got up and walked over to Jeremiah and put his hand on his shoulder. 'Where did you throw the knife? and did you pick it up after that?' Alex said calmly hoping his calmness would rub off onto Jeremiah. 'Oh my God!... I didn't! Its still at her place!!!' He says in hope, Jeremiah runs out of the room closely followed by Alex who was sprinting after him. They finally got to Jeremiah's car and both got in quickly not really bothering to put seatbelts on. They drove off quickly in the hope of finding that knife.
