Chapter 2

•Zayns POV•

Today was my birthday and I was turning 18. My mom was in the car, so when I got into the car she smiled warmly at me. "Happy Birthday Zayn." I gave her a big smile and hugged her.

"Thanks."

"So any plans for today?"

"Umm Harry, Louis and Liam said they had something planned."

"Aww there so sweet." Yea if only you knew what they were like, they're probably planning to take me to the strip club. She pulled out of the driveway and we made out way towards my school, it was my last year and I was part of the popular crowd.

I would drive myself to school but I got my license suspended for speeding- which by the way was louis fault.

*Flashback*

We were driving down the road back to my house we had just went to a party that we were invited to and louis was the driver for tonight. He was going 50 on 35. I heard the police sirens and automatically knew who it was. The police came chasing after us. "Louis pull over." He shook his head.

"I can't." He said going even faster.

"Louis your gonna get us taken to jail." Liam said panicking. Harry on the other hand was screaming "Faster boo!! Faster!"

"Louis! Pull the fuck over!" So he slowed down and pulled over by a stoplight.

"Don't panic but I got my license suspended."

"You mean you don't have it!!?" Liam yelled. He just nodded. "Oh my God I'm going to jail. Do you know what they do to people like us in jail? Do you Lou?"

"Switch me places." I said to louis.

"No zayn, your also gonna get your license suspended."

"Yea and if you don't switch me places were all going to jail, so I think getting my license suspended is better than going to jail."

"Fine." Louis finally switched places with me and the cop came to our window.

"Do you know why I pulled you over?"

"Umm.." Is all I said.

"Step out of the car sir." Shit! I opened the door and stepped out. "Walk in a straight line for me." This guy thought I was drunk? I walked in a straight line and he let me get back in the car. "I'm gonna have to suspend your license sir."

"Okay."

"Okay so everybody out the car and we'll get you home." Son of a bitch.

*Flashback over*

We pulled into the schools parking lot and I opened the door but I didn't get out yet. "Have a nice day at school today baby." I gave her a small smile. "Oh wait I almost forgot!" I looked at her.

"What did you forget?" I closed the door. She turned a little in her seat to grab something from the back seat. She pulled out a big bag and right now all I could think was that I got the thing I wanted, an Xbox.

"Open it!" She squealed. I smiled and started taking out the paper. My smile faded when I took out what was in the bag. "Do you like it?" It was a brown teddybear with realistic blue eyes. A fucking teddy bear, what the fuck I look like? I'm freaking 18 mom!

I just smiled at her and she gave an even bigger smile, even though it seemed almost remotely impossible. "Thanks mom." I kissed her cheek and was about to put it back in the bag when she grabbed the bag and put It in the back.

"Have a nice day with your teddy bear Zaynie." She seriously didnt think I was going to take this to school?

"Mom." I said kind of embarrassed.

"Oh come on Zaynie it's just a bear." I opened the door with a groan and got out of the car. The teddybear in my arms. "Bye sweety."

"Bye" I muttered and she drove off. Louis and Harry came walking down hand in hand.

"Happy birthday zayn!" They both said in unison. Louis looked at me then down at my teddybear.

"Aww did Zaynie Waynie get a teddy bear?" I glared at him and he chuckled. "Let me guess? Your mom?" I nodded.

"So are you gonna like hide it? Or are you like gonna carry it like around all day?" Goodness Harry. Harry always seemed to use the world like alot, sometimes It got really annoying but I had gotten use to it.

"I guess I'm gonna have to carry it around all day."

"Let me see that shit." I handed it to him and he stared at his eyes, for some reason I felt mad that he was looking at its eyes like that. "Do you have a name for it?"

"Not yet."

"How bout louis the great."

"Ha ha ha ha... No." Harry wrapped his arms around louis.

"I don't know if you've noticed louis but I think your only great as you say you are in Harry's eyes." He gasped playfully.

"Is it true teddybear? Am I only that great in his eyes?" he stared at it , "answer me!" he started shaking it and i yanked the teddybear from his hand and he stared at me taken aback.

"Stop shaking it like that."

"Zayn dude chill it only a teddybear." He's right. But then why did I feel the need to protect it?
