Draco sat in the Slytherin dorm with his minions. He had seen Harry for the first time this year and now he couldn't stop thinking about how he wanted nothing more then to ruin his life. Potter was now in a relationship with Ginny Weasely his best friend's, Ron Weasely's, sister. Weaselbee was one of Potter's friends along with Heromine Granger a mudblood. Draco couldn't stand her, but for some reason he no longer cared about those two. He was too busy wondering what Harry saw in Ginny. Even Pansy was better then her. Her long red hair, freckles, and blue eyes. Draco was getting irritated and this being about Harry pissed him of even more. He was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts by Pansy Parkinson's voice.
"Draco what are you thinking about? You look rather upset." She asked obviously wishing he can confined in her. He didn't and the disappointment was clear as day on her face.
"Nothing much." Pansy gave up on trying to talk to Draco after this.
The rest of the night was peaceful. Draco was allowed to sink into his thoughts. By the time he decided to go to bed everyone had left the room to go to sleep. He walked up the stairs to the boys side. He thought he heard pansy say something from the girls side but choose to ignore it. as he laid down in bed he heard someone moving to the side of his bed. He didn't have to look to know who it was.Blaise lowered himself in the bed. Draco didn't look at him and neither did Blaise look at him. he could tell he was fighting with himself again and being a good friend he was just trying to be there for him. Yet he didn't know how. If only he knew the cause of this problem. Blaise sighed and Draco looked over at him. he wanted to tell him, but he had no way to explain this himself. He decided to act as though everything was fine and just go to bed, but he knew Blaise didn't believe his acting.
The next morning draco rolled out of bed and got dressed in his robes. He walked downstairs and groaned silently when he heard a certain voice.
"Good morning Draco." Pansy's voice called out before her and Blaise came down the stairs from the dorms.
"Good morning." Draco muttered and began to make his way out of the Slytherin common room.
To his dismay the two followed. He just wanted to be alone. They walked down the corridor and thankfully Pansy's boyfriend came around the corner and offered to walk her to class. Then Draco and Blaise were alone. Blaise sighed and seemed to be debating if he should speak or not. He was looking at the floor and then he looked at Draco opened his mouth, but then apparently decided not to tell and walked off. Draco watched after him wondering what he couldn't say to him. What was so hard for Blaise to spit out? Getting frustrated Draco gave up on Blaise's issues and began walking to class.
---
Blaise rounded the corner and when the doors appeared practically ran to the Room of Requirement. He couldn't tell Draco when he didn't even know what...this was. It had only happened once, but it had just felt right. The door began to open wrenching him from his thoughts as a red haired boy appeared. He shut the door behind him and walked to Blaise who looked down at him. The boy leaned up to him and pulled their lips together. Blaise kissed back and pressed against him. His tongue tracing the shorter boy's lips. The boy gasped and Blaise's tongue slipped into his mouth exploring it for the second time. They heard the door start to creak, so they pulled away from each other. Blaise looked around for somewhere to hide, but the other boy found one and already pulled Blaise behind the pile of junk. Footsteps entered the room and then a voice called out.
"Where are you? I know you came in here." It was Granger's.
The boy began to walk, but Blaise stopped him.
"Don't go." Blaise looked at him wishing he'd stay, but knowing his answer.
"I can't." The boy said.
Granger's voice called out again this time it was furious. "RONALD WEASELY I KNOW YOU ARE HERE!"
Ron winced at the sound of her anger and walked out to her. Blaise waited a couple minutes after the doors closed to make sure they were gone before he exited the room and turned the corner. The room vanishing behind him as though it had never existed.
---
Ron sighed as he listened to Heromine drone on and on about how she was done covering for him. Ron wasn't really listening anymore. He was more worried about if she knew the real reason why he had asked her to tell people he was out for a fly or something. Had she seen Blaise go in before him? Would she be mad if he told her the truth? He was so lost in thought that he didn't hear what she had said.
"Ronald!" She practically screamed and people passing stared.
"Huh?" He turned to her.
"What are you even doing when I cover for you?" She asked then when he didn't answer she added demandingly. "Tell me!"
Ron got a little pissed off at her demand.
"None of your business." He glared at her.
She was silent for a moment before she said coldly "Then I'm not going to bother with you anymore. Cover for yourself."
Ron sighed as she walked away. She was his only cover for when he was with Blaise now what was he going to do. He leaned against the cold stone wall and closed his eyes. Footsteps were coming from the other hall, but suddenly stopped in front of him.
"Having problems with your mudblood girlfriend?" Draco's voice ripped through the silence.
Ron opened his eyes to see Draco and Pansy walking with other Slytherins who all were wearing a smirk.
"Piss off Malfoy." Ron glared at him.
"Make me." Draco gave a smug look.
Ron sighed not wanting to deal with him at the moment. Heromine wasn't even his girlfriend.
"At least I have someone to care about me." Ron enjoyed seeing Malfoy's face fall, so he added. "Awww mommy and daddy don't care for their pathetic son, do they?"
In a flash Draco's fist had risen and hit Ron square in the face.
Draco leaned down to him as he crouched in pain. "At least I'm better then you."
He walked off to the Great Hall. The Slytherin group following him.
---
Harry sat in the Great Hall waiting for his friend when Malfoy entered with Pansy and the other Slytherins. Malfoy gave him a cold glare before walking to the Slytherin table. Ron came in, just as they sat down, cupping his nose as he walked to Harry. Harry looked Ron over concerned for his friend. Ron picked up a napkin and pressed it to his bleeding nose.
"What happened to you?" Harry asked looking at Ron who's eye was red and a little swollen.
"Malfoy." Ron grumbled.
"You need to go to the hospital wing." Harry took Ron by the elbow who had nodded slightly.
Harry walked with him in silence through the corridors. Ron looked at Harry as they entered the wing.
"Thanks Harry." Ron said his voice muffled by the tissue he was stilling holding to his bleeding nose.
Harry nodded in response as Madam Pomfrey came over and took Ron over to a bed. They haven't been here for a week yet and Malfoy was already bothering them. This is gonna be a long year.
