Enlighten Me

prologue

Crisp mornings. Something I have become used to, standing here in the star city of the States where people dream of living one day but I, I feel out of place. States never made me feel like I am home Los Angeles never seemed to give me that comforting feel.

Oh for the formalities, Hi! I'm Blaire Rose Christine, Rose is my middle name and look at the coincidence I have a rose tattoo that, I guess I was born with. Dad says when he got me it was something that captivated him the most such a small child with a tattoo it seemed surreal. Well at times its colour captivates me too, its rich colour makes me ponder as if that it's my own blood that fills its intensity.

Also, before I forget let me establish this that I am adopted and there is no time for any sob stories in my life, so that's all you will get. But look where my destiny has brought me. Here I stand with my chin held high and walking with pride there is nothing that can bring me down.

ONE THING I am uncertain about is what the future holds for me. I am moving to London, whenever I think of London there is this warm feeling that settles in my heart, like the warmth Of the Los Angeles sun, but at the same time there is something ticking about it and when I think of dad it makes me want to rethink my decision. But I know, I have to do this for me.

I am going to do this for me.

A/N: Hello everyone! I am 👑B. I started writing this book back in 2015 but being the crazy adolescent I was couldn't complete it. But the idea has always stuck with me. I am 20 now, turning 21 soon and I feel like I am capable enough to give it a try. Bear with me as this would be my first try. I promise that its going to be a roller coaster that would be worth all the screeching, tears, laughs that you are going to experience. This story started out as One direction fan-fic but now I am planning to change that. But now that I don't have the courage or the heart to change that so the characters will remain same but there will be a little change in the plot so I request who have already read the book they should also start from the beginning.

Can't wait to share this journey with all you beautiful souls. Positive criticism is always welcome but as soon as you spew shit you will be reported.
