WHAT AM I GONNA DO?

CHAPTER I

The first day

"Oh sweetie you're all grown up! You're in Junior High already!"Mom said giving me a really tight kiss on the cheek."I know mom,I know..I gotta go"I said trying to break away from her endless kiss."Now you have fun,okay?"She said."Yeah,I will..bye!"I picked up my bag and headed out outside.School wasn't really far.You could actually just walk to get there.Sant Moore High School is where I'm studying.My mom says it's a really nice school with advanced education and all those crap.Even my friend Jessy says it's nice too.Well,you'll never know till you see it.My brother Andrew graduated college and moved to London with his girlfriend so I'm left alone with my mom and dad.This year will probably be all crap since I'll be a total loner.Not long enough,I finally reached the school.It was really huge and various types of Highschool students were scattered all around.There were these sporty guys and gals,there were those nerds,those goth kids,the popular girls and all those kind of stuff.Wow,I don't think a newbie like me could ever survive a whole year here.I continued walking and looked around not knowing where I was going till I bumped the popular girls."Oh I'm terribly sorry.I wasn't looking where I was goin"I quickly apologized as I bent down to pick my stuff up."You better be"The so called leader spoke to me.They walked away leaving me on the ground looking like a total looser."need help?"suddenly I heard a boy offering me some help.I looked up to see a tall dark blonde haired boy."Y-yeah...I-i need help"I sounded like a dork loosing all my words.He picked my books up and carried them along the way for me aswell."So,are you new here?"He asked."Yeah,Just moved in last week"."by the way,you might not wanna mess with those girl you bumped into a while ago"He tried warning me."Why not? doesn't mean they're popular and alot more powerful than the rest of the students here doesn't mean they have to be treated like royalties"I said."Wow,I like that spirit"He said to me with his lopsided smile."Thanks"."What's your name by the way?"He asked."Merlain Hurley and you?"."Les Anderson"."that's a unique name"I said to him."thanks!"He said.from a far,I could see another boy waving at him."Oh there he is!"He said as he walked closer to this boy and I just followed him."Hey Les who's she?"He asked."Oh,this is Merlaine.She's a new student"."Hi Merlaine,I'm Chris Chambers.I see you had a fun conversation with Les here"He joked."Yeah,he seems really nice"I said."What's your first class Merlaine?"Chris asked me."Um,History"I said."Cool! Ours is too! Let's all go together"Les said.We walked to the halls to go to History class.It felt weird being centered by boys you just met couple minutes ago.We arrived the room and took the last three seats at the back.Unfortunately,those girls were in the same class too.
