I should've said something, I could've stayed away from her, but I didn't.

I look at her. I mean really look at her. She has these big brown eyes, like melted puddles of chocolate. How could she do something like that? I tried to look for some type of emotion on her face, but there was nothing. You'd think she'd feel somewhat guilty that she killed her parents.

I didn't know what to do, I mean what would you do in this situation?

So I asked the dumbest question that could be asked in a situation like this.

"Why did you kill them?" I whisper, still keeping my stare on her brown eyes.

She laughed, biting her lip, while messing with her lip ring.

"I wouldn't just tell you why."

"You just told me your basically a murder, surely there won't be anymore harm then there already is if you tell me why." I say, in almost a frustrated tone.

"Yes. I have told you, because I trust you, I know you won't say anything." she smirks, going back to picking at her nails again.

"How do you know I won't tell?" I ask, narrowing my eyes at her.

"Well, I know you won't tell for three reasons, 1; You and all the other boys at this school, would do anything to please me, 2; You're to good to tell anyone, unlike these snotty bitches, you have a heart, and last but certainly not least, 3; I'll kill you to." she says calmly, although her eyes are flaming with anger.

I sat there in shock. In complete shock. Not only did she just a threaten me, but she keeps on assuming things about people, and that angered me because she was so right.

My blood was boiling, but at the same time, I was even more fascinated in Sage then ever before.

I hopped in my car, and let out a deep sigh. I chuckled at the thought of conversation at dinner later on, father would ask how was my day, and I'd casually point out that the new girl, was a murderer. And that I was in love with her.

How was your day dad?

I shook my head at the thought and started the car, and put on some classic music to release some of my stress, and as always it worked. Soon enough, I was humming along, a small smile on my face, and I closed my eyes in bliss.

Yes, I know I was driving but it was only for a second, just a quick second, I mean what harm could I possib-

"Oh god." I mutter, as I exit my car, and see what destruction I've caused.

My eyes widned, as I come to a gr8oaning Sage in the middle of the road with a skateboard, in front of my car, in pain.

"Jesus, are you ok?" I ask in a hurry, running my hands through my hair, and crouching down to her level to check for injuries.

"I've been hit by your car Ansel, I'm feeling better than ever." she says, letting out a small smile.

"Well I'm glad, that my car, has such an amazing effect on you." I say, grinning.

"I'm kidding, idiot." she mutters, but her smile grows.

"So was I, and therefore, not knowing that I was kidding means that your the idiot." I say, smirking.

"You've hit me with your car Ansel, I could sue you right now, so the least you can do is shut up." she says, shielding her eyes from the bright sun.

"I'm rich, it honestly wouldn't effect me even if you did sue me." I point out, stuffing my hands in my pocket.

"I could kick your dick, I'm sure that would effect you." she says, rolling her eyes.

"You wouldn't."

"Try me." she says, flashing a smile.

"Well, get off the road, it would be unfortunate if another car were to hit you." I say, giving her my hand to help her up.

She ignores it, and tries to get up herself, but sits back down and groans in pain.

I frown, and try to pick her up bridal style, but she whines even more. I lay her down on the hood of the car, and sigh.

"We could just drive you home, with you on top of the hood of my car." I say, scratching the back of my head.

I notice her body stiffens at the sound of 'home' and a thousand questions go through my mind but I ask the obvious one.

"You do have a home, right?" I ask, now sitting on top of the car hood.

She sighs, and lays her head on my lap, my body freezes at the movement, but I quickly relax. She seems to think nothing of it though.

"Of course, I live with my aunt, and cousins." she says, picking at a piece of thread on my jeans.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in and smile, but I notice how tired she looks, and she's not smiling.

"T-That's good, right?" I ask, my hands hover above her hair, debating on wether or not to touch it.

"It's complicated." she mutters, tracing patterns on my jean now.

I'd urge her on for her to tell me more, but I could tell she really didn't want to talk about it, so I dropped it.

"I guess you can come to my house." I offer, lightly wrapping her curls around my fingers.

"Yeah, okay." she mutters, and tries to get up, but sits back down and takes a deep breath.

I hop off the hood of the car, and stand between her legs, both hands on her waist, she moves my hand with her own and I look at her in confusion.

"It hurts." she mumbles

I sigh deeply, and put both my hands at the side of her thighs.

"Enlighten me, Sage, tell me what hurts." I ask in a British accent.

She giggles, "My whole left side hurts like hell."

"That sounds serious, do you need to go to a hospital?" I ask, my eyebrows furrowing together.

Her smile fades away and the coldness is back in her eyes.

"I'm fine." she says, firmly, her hands in a fist.

"O-Ok well, to my house we go." I say, smiling to lighten the mood.

She doesn't smile back, but the light is back in her eyes, I mentally sigh in relief. She was like a light switch, she could turn off on you at any second.

I wanted to keep her on.
