~your pov~
This will be the first cruise I've been on. I was excited but I was nervous too. I've had a fear of the deep waters of the ocean but I wasn't about to believe that this would sink like the titanic or something. I was walking with my parents up the staircase to the cruise. I didn't expect the boat to be so fancy! There were colorful lights and many floors.
We walked to where the staircases were and went down to the third to last floor. Our room was A75. It was a small space but enough for us. My parents took the large bed, obviously, and I took the smaller one across from it. After we set our suitcases down we walked up the stairs to the food deck. Holy crap was there a lot of food, and free ice cream! There were like two sides of the place and they were parallel to each other, except for the back. I grabbed some pasta and bread rolls since the lunch today was Italian. I also picked up a carton of milk and ice cream and sat down. My parents and I sat at a round table near the windows. There were a bunch of seagulls outside. Some of them didn't even care that there are people next to them. When we were done with the food my parents and I had to go through like an hour of safety rules, then we watched tv in the room.
Around 5-ish we went to some fancy dinning hall. I just got some chicken and chocolate cake. Right after I went and got some ice cream. When was I ever going to get free ice cream whenever I wanted to? I met my parents back in the room but around 6 they sent me to a club for teenagers like me. The introducing yourself part got me nervous but I was fine once she said we could play video games. I kicked butt at Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Some people didn't even know how to play. The boat moved without any of us realizing it, but apparently it had been since dinner. All of a sudden, the announcer came on,
"Hello everyone, do not be alarmed but I think there may be some unwanted people on this boat. No worries everyone, they will be found out soon.", a lady said.
Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing.
"Ok everyone, don't panic, someone probably forgot to scan their card.", our instructor said nervously as she locked the doors to our club room.
I kept playing the game but I was on edge the whole time. Later at 10:00pm the club had planned a hide and seek within groups of three. I got into a group with two boys. We were trying to find people on the edge of the boat. We were joking about how the place behind the bins would be a good place to hide dead bodies or something. That doesn't mean I want scared though. I kept glancing at them.. you know, just in case.
When we were done with hide and seek we went to the food court and ate ice cream. I got a giant swirl of chocolate an vanilla. I went down the stairs and into me and my parents room. They were already asleep so I quietly got ready for bed and curled up with my blankets.
