HEY HO IM ALIVE

I paid the taxi man and closed the car door. My jacket swings behind me as I run across the street. Cars and people fill the air. "Oh my god" I run my fingers through my hair and keep my head down. I look at the park and take a deep breath.

Walking along the cement path I start to worry. Did he show up? Is he going to kill me..?
These scary thoughts run through my head as I realize I can't find the man I've been talking to over the Internet. I keep walking as I come up to a building. I see him. He is leaning against the building. He looks worried and fiddles with the keys in his pockets. We make eye contact and he stands up straight and acts like he cool all the sudden. Oh my god.. I want to roll my eyes but I can't. Something keeps me from it. I walk up to him and smile.
"Hi.." I say shyly but still keep eye contact. "Hey there" he slightly smiles and stares into my eyes. We chat for a few minutes and I feel something grow inside me. I can't possibly say I love you yet.. It's too soon..
I smile and laugh at his attempt to be charming.
We arrive at his apartment in New York. He sits me down and runs to the kitchen. I could hear him microwaving food. He was trying, and it was cute.
  We headed out of his apartment. I had no idea where we were going. Soon we were at the skyline. The sky was dark and cloudy. We held hands and looked at each other. It began to pour outside but we had no where to go. It was July what could do harm. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. They were beautiful. Bright blue. He leaned in closer and we nudge our heads together. Nose to nose we looked straight into each other's eyes.     He leaned in and locked lips with me. We stood for a few moments and kissed. When we let go I knew this was it. This was love. I trust this man. And I knew he trusted me.

  "Josh, I-I-"

   "I love you,Colleen"
