I took a deep breath as I neared my destination. I'm still trying to decided whether or not I should do it. It is what everybody I've even come to know wanted, right? I sighed and stuffed my hands into my coat pocket, It was almost Christmas time and everything is covered in white snow.

*Beep Beep*

As I heard my phone go off I stopped in my tracks and pulled it out of my back pocket. It was from my so called 'boyfriend'. Rolling my eyes at the screen, I opened it anyways.

Baby, i'm sorry I didn't mean to say anything I did!

I scoffed, he didn't mean any of it?
Then why did he say it?

I debated on whether I should text back or not. Groaning I decided to text back, since it will most likely be the last time I talk to him. Or anybody for that matter..

Then why on earth would you say it Brandt? She obviously means more to you than I ever will.. Since apparently you can't chose. I'll do it for you.

Once I hit the send button I sighed and squeezed my phone in my hand. I was currently on the side of a bridge, so I brought my hand up to my face and kissed the phone before turning to the ledge. I watched as the water flowed in all different directions. I smiled softly and chucked my phone into the river.

When I heard the splash I looked up at the night sky, wondering why the world lied to me so many times.

**Flashback**

"Once Upon A Time," My mother started as I snuggled into her side. I smiled and looked at the pictures in the book. My mother began reading about how the princess needed help and her prince charming would come and sweep her off her feet and then they fell in love.

"Mommy, will I ever get swept of my feet by my very own prince charming?" My little 8 year old self asked. She looked down at me and smiled. Kissing me on the forehead she said,

"Of course sweetheart. He'll fix all your problems and be your savior. You'll get married and start a life together." I smiled so wide I thought my face was going to break.

**End Flashback**

I shook my head, Oh how naive I used to be back then. She promised me I was going to find him an when I thought I did he goes and cheats on me. I didn't even realize I was crying until I felt a warm sensation on my cheeks. I left a note for my family and friends.. Not that they will care.

I ran my thumb over my ring finger where the ring Brandt gave me used to be. I left it in his note, not wanting to have it on when I ended it all. As I wiped my tears away I grabbed the ledge of the bridge and stood on it. I looked up at the sky once more and screamed on the top of my lungs, 

"Are you happy world!? You fucking lied to me! You said I would get a happily ever after! What the fuck happened to that!?" My tears wouldn't stop. I wobbled on the ledge but soon regained my balance when someone called out to me.

"Hey miss! What are you doing!? Get down from there!" I looked back and saw a boy about my age running towards me full speed. Slowly shaking my head I looked down and took a step off the ledge, letting my body fall into the freezing water just like I had done the to my phone moments before.

I thought that was my end..
Boy was I wrong..
It was actually just the beginning..
