Have you ever heard the saying that there is someone else the same as you but different, well this is my story of when I met my other self that was a mermaid.
It was about 2001, I was about 16 and I was on a school trip to a aquarium to see the animals then do a recount on it the next day. Yeah, just don't worry bout that.
As I walking into the aquarium when I felt a sudden erg to get closer to the giant tank behind a a huge, locked gate.
"Where are you going, Anna, there's nothing in that tank" my friend, bailey, yelled out to me.
Then I snapped out of it and ran over to my friends who were with the rest of the class.
"Sorry, thats strange" i said looking back at the tank.
"What's strange?" They all said at the sometime.
"it was kinda like I was hypnotised and my body was being controlled by someone" I told them.
"Wow, desaveu" said Hannah.
"What do you mean, desaveu?" I asked.
"That's strange, last time I took you here for your 11 birthday, you said that exact same thing, don't you remember Anna?" She said looking at the others and myself.
"Hehe, sorry I don't remember ever saying that" I said with an innocent looking my face.
"No, it's alright, I never thought you would" Hannah said dropping her head and turning around as in to indicate that it was obvious that I don't remember anything.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" I said jumping onto her back laughing.
"I don't know what your talking about, are you imaging me saying stuff that I don't want you know hear?" Hannah started to get her sass on.
We laughter until we realised that the group had left, we ran for while until we heard the teacher yell out to us.
"Anna, Haley, Hannah, Bailey, why aren't you four with the group" she sounded quite angry.
"Sorry mrs Burton" we said giggling.
I loved it when we say something at the same time, it made us laugh and created a bigger bond.
"Ok classes, you can go explore now, but don't get lost" said mrs burton looking directly at us four.
"Ok mrs Burton" the class said together and then departed.
As I walked off I saw Nicole (a cute girl on my class) make her way into the food room, but it didn't surprise me, anyway, I walked up to the gate that was walking to earlier on, when I got there i noticed it open so i slipping and walked up to the tank, putting my hand onto the glass, then all of a sudden a human like creature swam up to the glass and put her hand onto the glass on top of mine, she looked just like me but with a fish tail and not two legs, she had the same flower, bracelets, hair, necklaces, earrings, her top was the same as the top of the dress I was wearing.
"HEY, GET AWAY FROM THERE!" A man yelled at me from the gate.
I turned around and saw a man ran running towards me, he seemed angry, when he got to me he slapped the glass and she swam down to the bottom of the tank.
"Your not allowed to see the creature in this ta-"
I had cut him off by pinching his hand on the tank.
"Why did you do that, she's beautiful and she likes me, and I like her, you just scared her away, you idiot"
I was angry at him for what he had done.
