Despite being very different, people often get these two mixes up. (They don't even sound the same wat?)
So, 'Than' is used like this: (I don't even know how to explain it lmao)
"I'd rather die than do that"
"I like cats more than dogs."
So basically when comparing two nouns (an object or place), use 'Than'
'Then' is mainly used when re-telling an event
Examples:
"Last night, I washed the dishes and then I went to bed."
"I hate Alice. First, she calls me stupid and then she bullies my brother!"
Questions:
1) George ate breakfast then/than went to school
2) I would rather listen to 1D then/than wash the dishes (Sorry Directioners who may or may not read this I just don't really like them that much. It's okay if you do though!)
3) This morning, my dad made me wash the dishes then/than walk my dog.
