A sigh emitted from the room of Stacie Ferguson. Why did they have to move? Oh, right, because her dad got a new job that he, apparently, can't decline. Stacie had a life in Jersey. But now, all of that will go to waste. Just because her dad couldn't decline a stupid job offer.

She slammed her suitcase as a flood of memories came back to her.

"Dad!" Stacie yelled. "Why?"

Said man groaned at his child's loud voice. "I'm sorry, pumpkin, but there's nothing you can do about it."

Stacie glared harder,"Do not call me pumpkin! And there is something I can do!" Her lips twitched as a hopeful smirk embedded itself unto her face."I could simply not go."

Her father just sighed,"You know that's not an option."

Eyebrows were twitched, yells were heard, and their neighborhood found out about Stacie's loooooong vocabulary.

Stacie sat down as she felt angrier than ever. Fortunately, her phone rang, stopping her from going on another rampage.

She recognized the caller ID the minute it manifested itself on the screen of her phone. She quickly answered it.

"Casper!"

Said boy growled,"Why didn't you tell me you were moving?!"

Stacie answered with a sigh for the third time that day. "How did you know?"

She could almost hear the smirk in his voice when he replied,"You were shouting like an animal."

They both chuckled at her stupidity. Talking with Casper always made her feel calm and collected. Like there was nothing in the world that can stop her.

But then she was moving. Which means she'll sabotage her friendship with him accidentally. The thought made her cry.

He probably sensed the awkward atmosphere 'cause he said comfortingly,"Hey. Shh, there's still Skype. We can talk there. No worries. I'll always be talking with you when I get the chance. I promise."

Stacie laughed half-heartedly. Nevertheless, they talked wile she was packing her stuff which made her feel nice. She's definitely gonna miss him the most.

A knock on the door interrupted her talk with Casper. She frowned, displeased. She told Casper about the situation then hing up.

When she opened the door, her father was standing there, two suitcases in hand; her mother's, and his.

He smiled at her warmly,"Ready to go, kiddo?"
