"Alice dear we must get going or your father will have our heads.", my mother shouts from the foyer.
I huff and look all around to see what's left behind me. All I see is an empty room with no memories that will be held on to.
Goodbye Connecticut, Hello Virginia.

I wake up to see the sunset and the cool crisp air of Virginia.
My father finally pulls up to the house where I can already see where the movers are helping us move in. The house is very ancient looking. Like the one from American Horror Story. It must have been built in the late 1800's.
"So sweetheart how do ya like the house?", My father chirps.
"It looks old."
"That's why I bought it!"
"Dad not everyone likes ancient history.", I nag at him.
"Well I'm not a Architect and History teacher for nothing.", he laughs.
All I do is roll my eyes and walk up to my new bedroom with the last boxes.
I look around to intake all of what's around me.
A balcony
Good spaced room
Closet
Bathroom
I huff and start putting all my stuff away.
Hours have past by and I've barely gotten finished. I sat on my bed and took a break.
I look up and see there is something behind the dresser.
A case.
I open it to find a ring. An emerald green gem placed right in the middle of it. It looks as if it were for a man. I turn over the necklace to see it has initials carved into the silver.
H.S
Hm who could it be I thought. I ignore it and put the ring back in the case and set it on my drawers. I then go into my closest and see paper shoved in between the walls. I gently pull them out to see that it was a letter to someone. It's all smudged except for the name at the bottom of the letter.
G
I look at the letters and set them next to the necklace. Someone must have lived in this house before us and it wasn't to long ago.
"Sweetheart you're oblivious.", a voice came out from no where.
I turn around to see nothing.
But all I felt was cold air and the hairs rising up on my neck and arms.
