It was morning. Well 4:00 in the morning. I got ready and snuck out. I didn't tell Lucas. But I needed to know about Maya. I climbed into her room. " Maya?" I said. She woke up. " Where's your mom?" I asked sitting on the foot of her bed. " Um. Riley I really just can't tell you." Maya said slowly grabbing my hands. " Maya you can tell me anything. I know we meet yesterday but I'm trustful." I said standing up with my arms up. " Hug!" I asked. Maya left her room. Middle school was hard and so was some friends. I told Lucas what happened. He said that he would not tell we are twins and would become friends with her. He had one class with her. Fourth period. "Ask him to partner you two up." I said. "Ok." Lucas said.
Lucas Pov
" Hey!" I said "Yo." Maya said. " So we are partners." I said. "Yep." Maya said back. " Can I come to your house to do it." I asked. "Yep." Maya said. It looked like Maya was ok with everything. I wanted to say hey will you jump off a cliff with me? I don't really want to be partners with her. When we got to her house I asked " Where's your mom?" She said " Dead." I didn't know what to do. She told me? Not Riley? I don't understand. " Let's get started." I said. We work for two hours then we both got a text. "School dance. Bring a school date 10:00 to 11:00." We both read out loud. When Maya finished reading she said " Want to go with me?"
