We would not send this unless it was our last hope. We are in desperate need of your help to save everything you know and love. The end is near and we need your help to stop it. Come help us, we beg you. That is what the letter said the letter that changed my whole life. I had a boring life and followed the same routine everyday. Get up, Get ready for work, eat breakfast, make sure my aunt has her meds, go to work, do my work the was pretty much the same every single day, go home, get ready for bed, make sure my aunt had her meds, go to bed, repeat. It was boring but all my life I was used to boring since I was a baby I had lived with my old as dirt aunt in the loud and gross city of Chicago. I had an 8-5 office job and just went with the flow. I was never going to go anywhere or be anyone important, at least that's what I thought until the day a winged horse landed on the top of my Volkswagen beetle when I was already running late to work.

I was sitting in the car fumbling with the keys when the whole car shook. My first instinct was to freeze and see if it still shook. Then something punched through the roof with a loud crunch and I looked up and if was a hoof I heard a distressed niegh from outside. I jumped out of the car and looked. I was in shock this wasn't real any second now I'll wake up in my bed and then get up and go through my morning routine. But I didn't and there was actually a horse with actual wings on top of my tiny car in the parking lot to the place I'd lived my whole life. The horse freed it's foot with some minor bleeding and scratching from the broken metal, and jumped off the car. It walked over to me and stuck it head up in the air. Something was tied around it's neck, I nervously reached up and grabbed it. It was a small, rolled up paper. I unrolled it and read.. We see you have decided not to take us seriously and ignore our first note. We realize that your whole life you have been guarded from the truth and what is really out there so our message would have to be sent with proof. We sent you Emmaline in hopes that you would realize that this is not a joke. We desperately need your help. The end it near if we sit back and do nothing. Please come Emmaline has been trained to help you and will, bring you to where you need to be. Come and let us explain everything if you still do not want to help we will bring you home and then will not bother you again. As we said in our last letter we would not do this unless it was absolutely necessary. I looked up at the horse and couldn't help but smile. She was awfully cute and she just kept looking at me with this brown eyes. She was pure white with white wings and she was gorgeous.

"Hey Emmaline, I guess I am supposed to go with you" I smiled

She neighed and took a knee for me to get on her back. She folded her wings bowed her head. I hopped on her back and then grabbed her mane. She stood and unfolded her wings then she took of into the sky. Flying in an airplane is one thing but on the back of a horse it's possibly the most amazing thing I have ever done. Emmaline flew into the clouds and then back down and galloped on top of tall buildings, how nobody saw us I don't have a clue, but I was having fun. Eventually we ran out of land and we flew over water which I didn't know why or how but I could tell it was the ocean. I felt energized like I hadn't been in a long time. I could only see amazing blues and greens in every direction for what seemed like forever. After an eternity we landed on an island about the size of hawaii, which I didn't know at first. Emmaline bowed and let me hop off and then she nudged my hand until I grabbed her mane and followed her. It was only one story but it went on and on it was about the size of an airport and the airports on chicago are huge. I took one look at the building and it took my breath away. It was raised platforms that were made out of slanted pieces of wood that looked much too thin to hold this huge building. The walls were made out of wood that looked new like it had just been put in and it had to be polished daily. The shape didn't seem like it would be possible, with the shapes and curves of the walls, but here it was right in front of me. The window, if you could call them that, were possibly the best part. They were cute made in the wood that had intricate designs and scenes acted out on them. They were small enough so that I couldn't see what was happening on the inside but I could tell they let in light and air. It was amazing from the outside and I couldn't even wait to get inside. Emmaline nudged me to a small wooden box that had a door on it. I got into the box closed the door and before I could think it was moving. I turned, patted Emmaline on the nose and muttered a thanks. When I got to the top the door was just like the windows. I gave it a small tap and it swung open, I took a step. I was in what looked like a huge living room or an extremely homely hotel lobby. People were doing everything from mma training to watching TV, and they were all wearing normal clothes and looked pretty normal, but something about the air told me this was everything but normal. Someone noticed me standing awkwardly and then came bouncing over.
