Chapter 26

I got back to the bus and saw Myles sitting there with Leslie laughing and smiling still more than he ever does.

"Hey." I said with a fake smile.

"Hey." Myles said and he didn't get up to hug me like he usually would.

I went and sat next to him on the couch.

He still didn't do anything he just kept talking to that Leslie chick.

I got up and walked to kalins little area

I shut the door behind me and saw Kalin looking at his phone.

"Kalin." I said standing looking at him on his phone and he obviously knew something was wrong.

"Claire what's wrong?" He asked patting next to him for me to sit

"Can you just tell me what went on with Myles and that other girl? Please Kalin." I said dropping a tear from my eye.

"Well Leslie was Myles first love." Kalin said and I could tell that it was hard for him to say.

"They were like Bonnie and Clyde. She would always get into trouble with him. That was while me and him weren't friends. Because he would always ditch me for her. Everytime he hung out he would say that he loved her so much. Which after a while for annoying." Kalin then looked over and I was pouring tears.

He pulled me into a hug. And he apologized for telling me but honestly I'm glad I did.

"Kalin before things get bad..... I'm going to break up with Myles. I don't want to be heartbroken again. I just can't. And I know after it he will go back to her and as much as that hurts me I won't stop it from happening. I fell in love with that kid, but obviously even if he did love me he will go back to his past and as quoted history repeats itself." I said and I cried into kalins arms.

"Claire you don't have to do that, even if they are hanging out again I know Myles loves you and he always will." Kalin said

"Well he probably said the same thing about Leslie too." I said and I walked out of the room.

I walked past Myles and Leslie and Myles glanced at me and saw my face was full of tears and Leslie just kept a blank face.

I walked out of the bus and I felt someone follow behind me.

I walked out to the parking lot and sat on the curb.

I saw Myles come sit next to me.

"Myles please I just want to be alone right now. " I said and I cried into my palms.

"Why Claire why are you acting like this?" He asked hugging me.

"Myles get off please." I said

"I will never let go of you." He said

"Myles do you love me?" I asked looking up at him

"Of course I do! Why wouldn't I? And why would you ask that?" He asked

"I know you love her, I know you always have and you always will. And that is okay with me, because Myles I can't be with you anymore." I said and I cried my little eyes out into my hands.

"Claire please, don't." Myles said starting to get emotional.

"Myles I can't right now I don't want to be heartbroken." I said

"Claire..." Myles said and he just looked at me by now we were both in full emotional mode.

"I'm sorry." I said and I ran. But Myles pulled my arm and pulled me back to him.

He pulled me to his chest.

"Please if you feel anything, stay" he said and he kissed me.

Of course I felt sparks. Ive always felt sparks when i kissed Myles.

"I did, but how do I know if you did." I asked and he said "you know I felt the same if I told you I loved you like I never have." He said and Myles got down on one knee

"Clarissa... I have loved you since the first day I met you, you are the love of my life. I can't imagine my world without you! You make me feel like I'm in heaven everytime I am in your presence. Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Myles asked opening a little box revealing a stunning ring.

"Myles." I said crying with joy.

"Of course I will..." I said before getting cut off by Myles

"And before you asked everything was set up, you were my first love not Leslie. Leslie is and actor. I wanted to give you the best proposal ever." He said still staring up at me.

"Myles. I don't care about that, well I mean I do. But yes yes yes I will marry you!" I said pulling him up to kiss me.
