Left behind

I couldn't really sleep that night. I mean, grass isn't every comfortable. I don't think any of us actually fell asleep for more than 1 hour. Well, except luna. That girl can sleep. She snore really loud so thats another reason why we couldn't sleep.

About an hour after the sun came up we all got up and stretched. We walked to the gas station thats was around the block from the house to go wash our faces and make our selfs look more presentable for the open house. Lucky for me luna had a brush and some hair ties that she brought from the orphanage.

After we all finish we start walking back to the house. Everyone was pretty quiet because it was pretty early and we were all tired.

"I hope this day ends well" I say trying to break the silence.

"Lets just hope for the best" junior replies.

"Even if nothing does go right we are always going to have each other." Luna says.

When we get to the house we try looking through the windows to see if there was any furniture. We couldn't really see much so we decided to wait till they open up the house.

"Im really thirsty" dan says standing up from the grass and hitting the dirt of his clothing.

"You can go get something from the gas station" junior says.

"Wanna join?" Dan replies

"We cant leave the girls here and we have to have someone watch the house in case they open it" junior points out.

"Okay uhhh luna come with me and Junior and sydney stay here. " dan says.

"What do you want to drink?" Luna asks junior and I.

"Sprite"
"Water" me and Junior add.

While they make their way to the gas station junior and I sit on the grass in silence. It wasn't that it was awkward or anything but we just had alot on our minds and didn't feel like talking.

30 minutes pass and dan and luna come back. We all enjoy our delicious drinks while we wait for the open house to begin.

We see a car pass by and park in the driveway of the house.
"That must be them" I say as we get up and try to peek at the car.

Someone gets out the car and open the front door. It seemed to be a man around his thirties. He was wearing a nice professional black and white suit.

When he opened the door he put something to keep the door opened. He goes into his car and get out balloons and tied it to the mail box.

About 10 minutes later a few cars started arriving and walked into the house.

"You guys ready?" Junior asks

"More than ill ever be." I reply

"Lets do this" dan adds

"Game on" luna says.

We all wall to the door and put our heads down so no one will ask us anything.

"Welcome to the open house" the man with the suit says.
"my name is sean so if you need anything just let me know" he adds

"Thank you kind sir" junior says trying to make his voice sound deeper than it already is.

We walk in and so many memories come back to me. They painted and updated the house so not everything was the same.

"Okay me and dan will go upstairs and see if we can find any clue. Luna and sydney stay here and see if you see our parents. Got it?" Junior says.

"Got it!" Luna and I say as we start to walk around the house.

We start going from room to room just looking seeing if anyone looks familiar.

"Hey, are you guys lost?" We hear a deep voice say.

We look up and we see a tall man with a black suit and a hat.

"N-no we arnt" I reply

"You sure about that?" He asked

"Yes we were just looking for our parents." Luna says

"Really?.. whats your parents name?" he asks as if he didn't believe us.

"Jessica and uhh uhh" luna says shuttering

"MAX!" I say interrupting luna.

"Jessica and max aye? I don't remember anyone signing the paper with those names." He says

"Well double check it square head!" Luna says getting mad at the guy.

"Excuse me? " he asks.

"Haha she met to say square bed because.. uh we have this joke that when uhh.. we see a.... Orange shirt we say square bed. Just something us kids says nowa days hah" I say nervously walking away.

"LUNA! Why would you say that!" I said

"Sorry he was just so annoying.. hah and square bed.. Orange shirt hah is that the best you can do?" She says laughing at me.

"Shut up we almost got caught lets go find the boys." I say walking up the stairs.

Once we find them we explain what happened and we had to leave the house.

"Any clues?" Luna asks the boys.

"Nope they cleaned out all the junk before the opened house im guessing." Junior replies.

"We wont give up though. We are going to find something out." Dan says trying to boost up our confidence.
