Game Date

Jenna's POV:

I stayed on the bus and went home with Val. We sat down on the couch. We sat in awkward silence. He turned on his xbox.

"Is there a game you like?"

"I'll just watch for now," I smiled. "Impress me."

"Alright."

He put in some machine gun, shooty game, and sat back getting settled.

"Val, watch out!" I pointed at some killer dude on the screen.

"Oh gosh, thanks."

This was kinda fun. He looks so happy doing this. I have him lay down, and I got next him.

"Now this is a challenge, win the game like this."

"Get ready to be impressed."

I got comfortable next to him. This was nice. I never really realized how sweet and lovable Val can be. He's such a softie, but a year ago if I told myself that, I would've laughed. I was beginning to get..really tired. I shut my eyes and laid my head on him. Ahh he's so warm. He smiled down at me. I fell asleep.

I felt someone kissing me, so I woke up.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, you're really cuddly, I blushed.

"Really?"

"Yeah!"

"Alrighty then," now this time he was blushing.

"Did you beat the game?"

"Well duh."

"Awh, that's my boy," I put my hand on his shoulders and kissed him.

"So, we're like, dating now?" He tensed up a bit.

"Yeah, I mean, we're kissing and cuddling and stuff, that's what couples do," I snuggled up to him and laid my head against his chest.

"Babe, are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Your heart, it's beating so hard, and fast."

"Um..that's what always happens when I'm around you." He rubbed my back.

"Even when you 'hated' me?"

"Well yeah, because I was crushing on you so hard, that's why I was such a moron."

"Awwe. You know, if you would have told me, things would've been easier."

"I know. And I'm sorry. I was so mean, you never look ugly."

"It's ok."

"No, it's not. I called a garbage, stupid, ugly, all things which aren't true."

"Val, really, its ok. You apologized, its over with."

"Ok, good." He pulled me onto his lap, and played with my hair.

"You're amazing, Jenna, don't forget that."
