So I know I haven't updated in a really long time. Oops...I'm sorry.

This chapter is long though, or at least longer than the other chapter. Just a heads up, you may find it boring or long winded. But anyways I hope you enjoy.

"Goodbye, honey! I will miss you!" Jacob waved to Matthew as he rode off on his horse, dabbing his eyes with a handkerchief. He sighed when Matthew gradually disappeared into the horizon and entered the palace. Now it was just him and his crown.

Every since Matthew had saved him from the evil monster, the two had been living together. Everyday, they would wake up and fall asleep to each other's face. There was never a day that passed by when the two had left each other's sight. But now, Matthew's business trip to a faraway country would strain their relationship and put it to the test.

Matthew had no choice. He didn't want to leave, but this was an important business trip. If he was able to get a contract signed, he would be able to rope in dozens and dozens pots of gold. With that money, he would be able to buy a million containers of gel and hundreds of new crowns for Jacob. After all, all he wanted was for Jacob to be happy. He would surely be delighted with these hair products and crowns.

Jacob sighed, slumping down on his armchair and stared out of the window of the tower wistfully. Already, he was beginning to miss Matthew's presence. The tower felt so hauntingly lonely without Matthew's cheesy jokes and his scandalous singing. Jacob longed to feel the warmth of Matthew's arms around his body.

Everywhere he looked, he was reminded of Matthew. A fleeting glance at the bed sent memories reeling in his head, reminding him of how they cuddled in bed every night, sharing jokes and filling the tower with their laughter. A peek at the mirror made him reminisce the time they spent in front of it, him sitting on a chair and Matthew standing behind him, trying to style his hair with a ridiculous amount of gel in his hands.

Shaking his hand, Jacob tried to organise his thoughts. He pursed his lips and a gentle breeze caressed his cheeks, turning his gaze away from the window. Perhaps a walk outside would clear the thoughts of Matthew from my head, he thought, rising from his seat and preparing to leave the tower.

Sebastian blinked, furrowing his brows as he surveyed his surroundings once again. Then, he looked down at his body and blinked in confusion. Slowly, he rose from the floor and walked unsteadily to the entrance of the cave, swaying to the gentle breeze.

What was going on? He had absolutely no idea. Why wasn't he dead? He was sure that the unicorn horn had pierced his eye. He had felt his body crumbling and disintegrating into dust before being carried away by the wind. After that, his mind drew a blank. What had happened after that? He should be dead.

However, there was something much worse. His appearance had completely changed. What had been two enormous pincers were now two scrawny human arms and two scrawny legs were in the place of what had been his many legs. Strangely enough, he was also wearing a fresh new T-shirt and jeans, seemingly ironed. However, the fact that he now looked utterly and disgustingly human repulsed him.

He absolutely loathed how he looked. How would he be able to face Jacob like that? The princess would be disgusted with his appearance, especially with his bird nest of a hair. He knew how much Jacob detested messy hair. If he ever went looking for the princess, she would slam the door in his face without a second thought. He couldn't face Jacob like this. He just couldn't.

Sniffling, he started towards the thicket of trees in front of him. There had to be something he could do. He couldn't be stuck like this forever.
