Carl was being so cute that night. One time i was cold, so he gave me his sweater. Before i went to bed he walked me to my tent and made sure i was safe. Well, we had a 'casualty' the other day. Amy, Andrea's sister, died in an attack. We're moving on though, going to the CDC. Tomorrow morning we would leave. I couldnt help but keep thinking of Carl. The ENTIRE night. So i just stayed up and packed. I changed into black & white converse, a neon green low cut tee, and denim jean short shorts. I threw on Carls sweater. It smelt JUST like him. I decided to lay down, and day dream. Maybe that would help. I ended up falling asleep and dreaming of Carl and i.
***THE NEXT MORNING***
I woke up late. I heard the sound of little feet running around. Probably some of the younger kids having fun in all the comotion. I walked outside. Carl waved.
"Nice sweater." said Shane. I blushed. I totally forgot about the sweater!
"Hey Carl." i said, obviously nervous. He passed me a plate of breakfast.
"Thank you." i said. He gave me a napkin, when i opened it i saw a note. It was writeen straight on the napkin, to make sure i would see it. It read: Madi, will you be my girlfriend? -Carl. I lit up.
"YES!" i screamed. Rick gave Carl a thumbs up. I rapped my arms around Carl's neck and hugged him. I saw Lexi and Daryl hugging and kissing. When everyone was ready we got in our cars. Lexi was on Daryl's bike with him. I was with Carl, Rick, Lori, Sophia, and Carol.
