This is for the Slytherin. We R Slytherins.
I get up for my first day of school. I feel sluggish and just want to go back to sleep. I still get weird looks from everyone.
The girl from the train walks over. I learned her last name is Parkinson.
"You better not try anything, Weasley," she spits. I wipe the saliva off my face dramatically.
"I think you need that to checked out, Parkinson. It's not an attractive quality."
She gasps and turn around. I grab my clothes and change in the bathroom. I just leave my hair down since it looks good today.
I grab my bag and head to the Great Hall. Ginny stops me at the door. She looks comfortable in her robes.
"If you ever want, we can pull a switcheroo. Especially since it'll be easier now."
"Yeah," I laugh. "Supplies for Polyjuice."
She smiles and we go inside. It works that the Gryffindor table is next to the Slytherin table. Ginny and I sit so we can turn and talk.
Just as Ron and Harry sit down, Errol flies in. It crashes into the Gryffindor's food. Ron takes the two envelopes. One is a bright red and is smoking.
"That's a howler," one boy states. "I got one. It was horrible. Go on Ron. Open it."
My brother does what his friend said. It turns into a pair of lips.
"Ronald Bilius Weasley," it shrieks, sounding like our mother. "How dare you take the car without permission. Your father and I were worried. And now he has to deal with the Ministry. And Ginny dear, congrats on making Gryffindor. Make sure Abi gets her letter."
My twin and I blush at the same time. She hands the letter to me and I open it.
Dear Abi,
Sorry for not joining Ginny. I know how much you two wanted to be in the same house. But if you just try, I know you'll succeed.
Best wishes,
Mum and Dad.I fold it up and put it in my bag.
"What's that about, Weasley?" Draco asks. "Your parents can't afford your house and you have to leave?"
"Much better option than spending the next six years with you," I state. I take my schedule from the head professor and leave.
When I turn the corner, I stop and sigh. I look at the schedule. It's just basic first year classes. I have broom lessons first today.
Apparently if I do well, then I don't have to take it again. I head straight there. Ginny arrives two minutes after me.
"Can I see your schedule?" She asks. I hand it to her and she glances over it. "We have every class together."
"You better keep up with me," I tease her.
"I think it's the other way, sis."
