Chapter 8: Factory Street

Anna POV

"Go to the building on factory street. Last building.. I think Shane was dropping hints at where they're at and that's the only place I could think of..please be careful.." I ended the call before he could reply and turned my phone off instantly. Hopefully he's dumb enough to open that door. That'd end him for sure.
I walked into my office and closed the door behind me making my way to my desk. I sat down and turned the TV and watched the girls in the cell. What a shame they have limited time to live. I smirked at myself.
  I took a drink of my tea watching the news. Everything is coming together perfectly. I pressed a red button on my desk and spoke "Send Darrin in." A few moments past and I hear a knock on my door "open Darrin." Darrin opened the door closing it behind him. "You called Anna?" He said as he sat in front of me. I smile at him "Did you put them in the building like I asked?" I said putting my drink down. "Yes ma'am I did. As many as I can." He said. "Perfect."

Felix POV

I parked in the parking lot next to the building. I looked at them. "Are you guys going to be okay out here? I don't want anything to happen to any of you while you're with me. If I'm not back in an hour leave. Don't even get out of the car. You don't know what's out here. I don't either. But I have to get her back." I check my phone to make sure I don't have anything. "Here, just in case something wild happens in there." David said handing me a pocket knife. "David where'd you get that!" His mom asked giving him a look my mom used to give me when I was his age. I take the knife "thanks David. I'm sure you and your mom have a time killing conversation" I laugh a bit and then stuff the knife in my pocket and open the door and got out. I walked down to the building cautiously yet trying to look causal. I tried looking into the windows but it looks like they put something in front of them to prevent anyone from looking in. I kept low making my way to the back door of the building I held the knife out to my side to make sure im prepared for anything. I tried to slowly open the door but it wouldn't open. I pushed a bit harder and all of the sudden a decayed arm reached out for me. I felt my body jolt back as I was laying there I heard somebody scream my name. All of the sudden someone jumped in front of me and started to slash away at the decaying bodies that tried to attack me. I slowly  brought myself up to my feet and tried to help. They're zombies. I stabbed one in the head kicking it away from me. After the man killed the last undead he turned to me. "Ken..?" I said. "I haven't seen you in forever. It's been a while. What are you doing here?" Ken looked at me. " Yeah Felix, it has been a while. I'm looking for my girlfriend. Shane-" I cut him off. "Shane took her as well?" I was pissed at this point. "He took Marzia. I have no idea where she is. She was meant to go to America for her photoshoot." I threw the knife out of frustration. Ken went and grabbed my knife and brought it back to me. "Felix relax, they have to be here. They probably put the zombies in here to protect them from us getting them. Who knows who all they kidnapped. We need to find them in time." I nodded and walked into the building with Ken looking around. Nothing. I should've known it wouldn't be this easy. I kicked over a chair and yelled "Dammit I just want her back!" Ken looked at me. " We need to keep looking. Come with me. I have a place that is secured. I sighed "I really need that rest. But I really need Marzia. I hope you have room for two more because I have two people that I'm trying to help protect as well." Ken nodded "I have more than enough room. Just follow my car and I'll bring you to my place in no time." He smiled. We made our way back downstairs and out the building. I got into my car. "And that's why I don't think I would trust you having a weapon with you!" David's mom yelled. "Okay I get it mom! Please stop its been 45minutes already. I got it. No more weapons." I looked at them. "Well actually, at this point in time it's important to have a weapon on you. There's zombies roaming." they looked at me in misbelief as I started the car and began to follow Ken. I told them everything that happened while I was in the building.

We soon pulled up to his house he was staying in. "Fuck!" I heard ken yell in his vehicle. I pulled up beside his vehicle "what's wrong?" I asked being very curious. "Someone ambushed my place!" He point at the place on front of us completely thrashed and looked as if it was on fire. "Now what?" He looked at me. "I think they're a hotel around here we can go into and stay for the night." Ken agreed and we began looking around until we found the Tipton hotel. We all got out and took out our belongings and went inside. I was in the front while Ken was in the back. We looked around and when up 2 flights of stairs. We walk down the hallway and took a left. All the sudden we heard a scream. I located where the scream was coming from and busted down the door as fast as I could. It was stormy. She was getting ready to be attacked by zombie. I ran inside as fast as I could to her rescue I grab the zombie by the shirt and stabbed it in its head. She was hysterically crying. "My.. my mother tried to eat me.." I grabbed her and held onto her trying to comfort her. "That wasn't your mother anymore.. that was ..something unearthly." I pet her hair. "I'm so sorry for what you had to witness. " She looked at me with tears running down her face. "She turned into a zombie." My heart was broken for this young lady. " You can come with us and stay if you like. Grab the things you need we need to head out. I'm not going to leave you here alone. " She slowly nodded and packed everything she could and was with us. Another few flight of stairs we walked up we found a room big enough for all of us to stay at. We shut and lock the door and put things in front of it to make sure nothing would be able to come in while we were sleeping. There was only 2 beds so David and his mother took one and stormy and I took the other while Ken slept on the couch.
