Charlie Chaplin once said, "We think too much and feel too little". Indeed, that we do. Save almost every living moment into our gallery. Gaze hopelessly at what text we want to send. However, sending something else entirely. Feed your ego, or feed your heart? After all, it'll all end the same. We all hide behind perfect transparent masks with our beautiful transparent smiles when we have a transparent broken heart.

The sun shone like a bright bedazzling ruby in the heart of a magenta mixed marigold sky. it sunk as the illumination of the star made Gabriel's eyes brighten from teal to arctic blue. With every breath, his heart enduring a burden of what felt like fifteen hundred pounds of lead. Gabriel watched the sun drown into a basil green lake which rippled in rhythm to every shock of wind it got. He felt a sudden touch, something light on his shoulder. He moved his gaze from the mesmerizing sunset to the hand which was at rest on his shoulder, and was star struck.

"It's beautiful than I remember," He heard the young man with dirty blond hair observe.

"James!" Gabriel bawled at the beautiful blond boy who stood beside him. Gabriel boosted off the bench at Riverside park and embraced Him . The young man was taller than Gabriel and was breathtakingly handsome. His skinny cheeks blended in with high radiant cheek bones and a straight nose made up a brilliant, smart face. Along with his velvet flamingo pink lips which allured women for a quick peck of a kiss and his hair seemed to have the texture of the clouds, his eyes though was a clone of Gabriel's, teal blue with long lashes. One look at him would attract girls from countries away, and lust would be an understatement.

"Hello, Dad" He laughed. "and It's Jamie , Jamie Steven Blake" He made a face. Gabriel always called him James because Jamie's looks were similar to a Italian mixed British prince.

"How- When?" Gabriel questioned.

"I was planning a surprise visit. After I solved the Whitwiker case, it took a while I know but I put the pieces together," Jamie pause, " and the mother did it" He added with a thick English accent. Spencer Chelsey was a British women who babysat Jamie when Gabriel worked, thus Jamie developed quite the accent.

"It took a while?! You were gone for months" Gabriel continued, "and Holy crap, I would've never guessed" He murmured taken back. Gabriel always thought that the officer who was better at his job than he, was his beloved son.

"Yes, You would have." Jamie assured, seeing as Jamie looked up to his greatest role model, Gabriel.

"Maybe" Gabriel smiled half-heartedly remembering the dilemma that burdened him. Should I tell him? Gabriel wondered.

"I was on my way here, when I heard ... " Jamie slowly sat on the white wooden bench, his gaze turned to the gaze worthy lake. Gabriel followed his actions.

"What? You did? Who told you?" Gabriel questioned.

"Chloe"

"Oh, You two still ... ?"

"No, We are friends, though."

Jamie settled into his teenage bedroom that he hadn't slept in since he was a teenager. Summer camps, gym and girls kept him busy when he was a boy but as a man, he found it unpleasant to live with his father. His cases kept him busy, so he spent most of his time in a pool of imitating moves and personalities of criminals at his office. The only sleep was spent on motels and one bedroom apartments, although he never rented any of them because his cases took him out of the city most of the time.

Jamie sighed as he finally sat on the perfectly made bed, the sheets clean and without any wrinkles as if they were ironed. A quick run through his dirty blond hair that glowed in the dark illmuninant room as he gazed across the room and drew his muscular left leg and rested his hand upon it while he felt his cheek dampen more and more. She can't be ... how could she be ... ?  he thought. He stood swiftly as a rush of rage and agony struck his system. He shoved the files and books on the wooden work table as he screamed painfully. He sunk. He sunk to the cold floor that aroused goose bumps on his soft his. His tears felt like ice on his warm skin. He stared into the darkness as he heard footsteps. A figure of a man illuminated at the door, he came closer into the light revealing the similar figure of whom Jamie knew more than himself. Gabriel approached and slithered beside him.

"I miss her too, Kid" Gabriel spoke in sorrow, moving an arm on the other side of his son, "I miss her too" He repeated as he comforted his son.  Sparkling drops of tears oozed down Gabriel's eyes as he struggled to keep the pain inside, to withhold his emotions and obtained his manhood.    Jamie sat still staring into the dark with his head straight with a cold frown While the light hitting his teal blue eyes revealed dark enlarged pupils. One might say, if you stared at them long enough you might taste the coldness his soul radiated. Stare at them too long, you might get frostbite.
