Lucas opened his eyes, the sunlight was thin through the trees however it still burned his eyes, fresh dew drops glistened like gems on the budding trees. As he walked the only thought racing through his head while he walked, "must find food," walking through a clearing he heard a faint scream, Lucas stumbled behind a rock and summoned his s-class sniper rifle, and two glossy black swords, he walked slowly and silently to avoid being seen. What he saw was appalling, a blonde haired girl fight a fire dragon alone. The girl was thin about 6 feet tall and powerful, based on her sword swings, the dragon was an adult, he could tell based upon the diamond shaped scales on his back. The dragon reared back and struck down, strong, pulverizing the ground beneath his claws, the girl rolled into a tree, a painful snap was heard as she slammed into a tree she was weak but alive. The dragon roared again, preparing to attack again and this time the girl couldn't run. Lucas took to action, pulling down the rifle and took some shots, turning the dragon's anger to him. "This is going to drain me." Lucas started his spell ,hades fury, he struck the dragon with a strong spin, slicing him in half. Dragon's blood tainted the area around him, he checked his surroundings, and looked at the girl, her hair shining in the sunlight, as his eyes started to close, he mumbled to the girl "thank you...." Then Lucas fell.

Rachel looked down, the boy was light considering his height and strength she looked at the weapon that laid by his side, it looked strange to all the other weapons she had seen, taking a look at the loot she picked off of the bandits, the only problem she had was the dragon, which were difficult to tame, she hoisted the boy on to her shoulders and something strange happened, wolves started to come and they helped carry the sickly boy back to the school.
"Rachel! Where have you been," Thomas then, saw the boy "explain yourself now!" His tone was sharp, and his eyes burned a hole in her head, she explained the story, the bandits, the dragon, and the boy but when she reached the part about his weapon a voice willed her to stop speaking, "who is this" she thought in no direction in particular,
" it's Lucas,"the voices answered "you can stare at me like that and not know my name!" The boy sounded outraged but his body still looked limp.
Before Rachel could answer Thomas forced her to head to class, in which he would bring Lucas to the nurses office.
