*LONG CHAPTER*

"Honey we're home" I hear my mom yell.
"Shit" I say under my breath.
Cameron laughs.

"Shut up" I said smacking his arm.
"Ow!" He said being over dramatic.
"Baby" I said rolling my eyes.
Soon my mom walked in the kitchen

"Oh hey honey--who's this?"
"Mom, this is Cameron, he is one of my friends," I said introducing him.
"Nice to meet you ma'am" Cameron greeted her.
"You too, Emily he seems very nice."
"Sometimes" I said elbowing him and laughing.
"Hey you know you love me"
"In your dreams Cameron"

"Are you guys dating?" My mom asked after hearing our arguments.
"Nooooo" I said laughing.
"Yet" I heard Cameron whisper to me.
"Well yall are adorable, what ever yall are" my mom said winking at us.
"MOM" I yelled
"Sorry honey. I'm gonna go unpack, nice to meet you Cameron"
"You too ma'am" Cameron smiled

"Sorry about her" I said laughing.
"Well she's not wrong" Cameron said winking.
I laughed and blushed.

It's like I'm under his spell or something.
This boy will be the death of me. I'm sure of it.

"Well I'm gonna go home and change, what if we hang out later?" Cameron implied.
"Of course" I said smiling.
"Text ya the details babe"
"bye boo" I winked
Nope we still aren't dating but we tend to have the "act like a couple" friend relationship.

He kissed my forehead and walked out the door.
I went upstairs to change clothes
I wonder what me and Cameron will do later
I barely even know him
And he barely knows me
But I have a feeling that will change soon
I mean, it's like we were meant to be best friends.
Or more?
Idk.
I guess I'll find out some day

-5 hours later-
It's now about 4:00pm
I'm starving
If Cameron doesn't text and see if we are hanging out I'm going to go eat

About that time my phone buzzed.
C-Cameron
E-Emily

C- wanna catch a bite to eat?
THANK GOD IM STARVING
E-sure :)
C- meet me at chipotle?
E-can't....
C-I thought you said you wanted to go eat. Did you find someone else? Dayum you work quick.
E- no stupid. Madison still has my car from the party last night.
C- oh good I thought you were canceling on me, idk why I mean I'm the coolest person you know.
E- shut up dork
C- ouch. That hurt. Anyway I'll pick you up in 20?
E-sure thang boo
C- ;)

I hopped up from my bed and curled my hair and fixed my makeup.

Soon enough Cameron was knocking on the door.

"Mom I'm going to eat with Cameron I'll be back later" I yelled upstairs to my moms room.
"Okay sweetie have fun"
"Kayyyy"

I ran outside to where Cameron was standing
"You look fine as hell"
"Don't I always" I said winking.
"No argument there" he said smirking.
"Come on I'm hungry" I said pulling him to his car
He just laughed.

The song  "no hands" came on the radio and I immediately turned the volume up and started jamming out to it.
As soon as the song was over Cameron said,
"You turn up a lot don't you?"
"Yeah. Obviously" I said laughing
"I can't tell" he winked

We finally got to chipotle.
*skips the ordering & eating part*
"I got it" I said pulling out my wallet.
"You really think I'm gonna let you pay"
"I don't think, I know" I said winking.
"Your wrong about that honey"
He beat me to it. He went up and paid instead.
"I hate you" I said pushing him

"I love you" he said pushing me back
I just stuck my tongue out at him.
"*cough* childish much? *cough*" he said
I gave him an evil eye and ran down the road
" hey wait where are you going?" He said catching up with me.
" I guess you'll see in a second" I winked at him.
I was running to the beach.
If he was smart he would know the direction I was running in
"Wait are we going to the beach?" Cameron asked after we got closer.
"Nah duh smart boy"
"Shut up."
As soon as we got there I sat down on the sand.
I leaned back and watched the waves wash up on shore.
We were the only ones on that side of the beach at this time.
"Emily?" Cameron looked at me
"Yes Cameron"
"Do you come here to get your mind off of things?"
"I do, actually"  I said smiling.
"I don't blame you, it's beautiful out here" he said looking at the sky.
I just smiled and watched the waves.
About 30 minutes past and we just sat in silence looking up at the sky and at the waves.
"I guess we better be going" I said to Cameron.
"As bad as I hate to" he replied
"I know" I said looking back at the waves.
He grabbed my hand and we walked back to chipotle.
The whole car ride back to my house was silent.
I really like Cameron
He seems to understand me
"Thanks for today Cameron" I said while getting out of the car.
"No thank you" he said hugging me.

A few minutes past and we were still just standing there hugging.
"I never wanna let go" Cameron whispered.
I let go of the hug and he frowned.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him back inside.
I sat on the couch and pulled him beside me.
We turned on the tv and I fell asleep in his arms. I woke up when I heard him say something.
"I love you emily" I heard him mumble and kiss my forehead.
"Cameron..." I said sitting up.
"Oh your awake" he said and a sad face appeared on his face.
"Don't frown" I said poking his cheek, "cause I love you too" I continued.
A smile lit up on his face
Then he did the unexpected,

He started leaning in
