I saw a fair maiden ,her eyes were light blue and her hands felt like soft cotton balls. My heart felt a sudden warmth for her and I was determined to get to know her but she left. She must have dwelled near by and I must find her....................
Leah's POV
Well I arrived home with no eggs and smelling fresh of egg, I took a shower,brushed my hair and decided to take a nap as Agatha wasn't home. After a while ,I heard a banging on the door . I got up and opened the door only to see my friend Claire ,she was a bit jittery and anxious ,she said that the prince was coming to see the people of our neighborhood and I should come ,I had nothing better to do so I went. Everyone stood in a straight line, the prince walked by shaking everyone's hand and smiling . He was 5 people away from me and I was honestly very nervous .Finally he came and took my hand and when he looked up there was a sudden pause in that moment , he had a sincere look on his face and the words "fair maiden ,what is your name?" Came out of his lovely ,plump lips. Leah ,I said . Would you please accompany me to the Barn across the lake ,I would love to get to know you better ,He asked. I was extremely shocked that Prince David took interest in me ,after all I was a freckle face girl with a crazy accent. At once we left. Prince David was a great person,he was kind and the more we spoke the more we began to enjoy each others company . It began to get late and I had to leave . I told him goodbye and he suggested that we meet again , He insisted to drop me home but I said no . I left and arrived at home. Agatha's face was red ,and she seemed very angry all of a sudden ,I asked "What's the problem?" She was upset that I came home very late and was worried ,I laughed it off and went to bed. The next day I went to the Barn again and to my surprise the Prince was there. "I taught I'd find you here" he said . I smiled and he gave me an invitation ,an invitation to the Royal Banquet ,I was flattered and of course I decided to go. He said I'll see you tonight then and he left . I went to the fabric store an got peach cloth to make myself a dress. I worked on it the entire evening and when I was finished it looked perfect. I curled my hair and tried on the dress and I looked amazing.
