Alex's pov (Parker above)
the next morning I wake up. I check my phone. I see a message from Parker. it says "good morning Alex hope you slept well. I can pick you up before school. text me when your ready. ☺️✌🏼️". I get up and grab black leggings and a big sweater. I do my hair and makeup quickly. after I text Parker telling him I'll be ready in 10 minutes. I put my black boots on. I make my bed and clean up my room a bit. before I leave I grab some money and then my bag. I walk out of the house with my phone and bag and get into Parkers car.
"Hey." he says.
"Heyyyyyyy." I say.
"Are you hungry?" he asks me.
"No not really. Are you?" i ask.
"Yessss!!!" he says.
"Haha. okay." I say.
"Do you wanna get something to eat real quick?" he asks.
"Okay." I say.
we sit in silence waiting to get to a local deli. We wait on the line and I get coffee and a bagel and he gets the same. I give him money but he won't take it.
"Thank you." I say sipping my warm coffee.
"No problem. " he says.
"Let's eat." I say sitting at a little table. we sit and eat out food and drink our coffee.
"How's your bagel?" I ask.
"Good." he says.
"Cool." I say. I finish my bagel and sit drinking my coffee.
"What happened to your forehead?" he asks me.
"What do you mean?" I ask. I push my hair out of the way and feel around. I wince in pain when I touch a certain part.
"There's a big bruise on your head." he says.
"Oh I hit my head trying to open my door yesterday. it was dark and u couldn't see." I lie. it was from my father.
"Ouch." he says.
"Yeah. I'm clumsy." I say fake laughing.
"So are we still on for tonight?" he asks.
"Yeah." I say.
"Yay." he says. we get up and go back to his car to drive to school.
We walk into school and I try to cover my forehead as best as I can. I walk close to Parker. We meet his friends by our lockers. Today there is a girl with them. She is around the arm of Shawn.
"Oh Alex that's Mandi." Parker says.
"Hi!" I say to her.
"Oh my god. Parker she so pretty how is she friends with you?!?!" She says. I laugh.
"Shut up Mandi" he says.
"Hi Alex. I'm Mandi. your new bff." she says and I smile.
"Haiii!" I say.
"Is she in our film class?" she asks.
"Yes I am." I say.
"Awesome." she says.
"Let's go to class." Parker says. We walk and he puts his arm around me.
"Okay class. today we are going to be starting a new project. You will be paired up in groups of 5 people of your choice. Your will be creating a movie." Mrs. Green says. I look at Parker who is sitting next to me.
