"Jackson come on I really don't feel like being late for the first day of school." I said jumping up and down next to the door with my piece of toast in hand and my bag rested on my shoulder.
"Well this wouldn't be a problem if you hadn't decided to crash your car last week" Jackson said walking down the stairs and turned towards the kitchen to grab his breakfast which consisted of a banana and a protein shake.
"You know that wasn't my fault! There was a small squirrel on the road! I would have cried for at least two days straight if I happened to run over the poor animal. You know how emotional I can get!" I said while opening the front door not bothering to say goodbye to mom.
Jackson pulled up to the schools' parking lot finding a spot right next to the bike racks. When opening the door he hit some kid who I think is in our year, and probably told him some rude thing when it obviously was his fault, he then went to talk to another person who just wanted to be friends with him because he probably wanted to climb up the popularity latter.
"I'm really sorry about him, he's just mad because I made him hurry on his hair routine this morning." I said holding out my hand to introduce myself to the person who was at the receiving end of my brother's wrath. "I'm Aria."
"Hey I'm Scott McCall, and I know who you are wait that sounds weird I didn't mean it like in a creepy way or anything It's just you're Jackson sister and you were also in my third grade class." He was almost physically tripping over his words.
"Oh yeah, now I remember you. You and one of your friends were like inseparable the teacher would always try to get you two to move away from each other because you'd always make noise." I said reminiscing the elementary years
Scott laughed. "Yeah that was me and my best friend Stiles. We were always, finding trouble."
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Lydia waiting for me by her car I knew I had to cut the conversation I was having with Scott short otherwise she would have my head for making her look lonely in front of so many people. "Hey Scott it was nice talking to you but I should go, but maybe we can talk again sometime?"
"Yeah, totally I needed to go talk to my friend anyways, so see you around?" Scott asked turning around to look over at Lydia then back at me and flashed me a huge smile turning towards the school; it was only then I noticed the lacrosse stick sticking out of his backpack I've never seen him on the field though maybe he's just starting this year.
Turning back around I started walking back towards Lydia where she met me halfway in between some cars.
"Why were you talking to that nobody?" Lydia snapped at me looking at me up and down probably checking to make sure nothing was wrong with me or making sure our outfits weren't clashing like one day freshman year when we were the same black dress and boots the only difference was I wore a brown leather jacket with it and Lydia had wore a scarf. Ever since then we always texted each other the outfit of the day so a situation like that would never happen again.
"I was just apologizing to him since my oh so wonderful twin decided to act like an even bigger jerk than he normally does." I answered
"Well it doesn't matter that much I suppose; let's just get to class." She said linking our arms together and guiding us to the front doors of the school passing Scott and his friend who was staring at us as if in he'd never seen a girl before.
When I was sitting down in my first period which was English I noticed Scott and the same guy who he was talking to before school walk in whispering about something until they noticed me. I smiled and motioned them to come and sit next to me since I didn't like anyone else in the class, the pair perked up and sat by me Scott to my right and his friend in front of me.
