Chapter 6 What?

MADELINES (POV)

Then I heard Dustin yell... I found them! I raced across the ice. I knelt down and touched the ice and almost instantly the ice melted. We pulled them out. Daphne woke up. And coughed a little bit.

   "Daphne!" Sydney yelled. When she woke up.

   " Sid your out of the water your ok." I said.

     We were all sitting in a circle." What happened how did we get out."

   " Well you know how at school you asked me what was wrong with my hands. Well I kinda lied to you. When we were camping I was starring at the fire and I leaned in close to get the pan we had baking. When I touched it i got a jolt. It left a mark on my shoulder. Now its a tattoo.  

   "Wow. So you have fire and we have ice."

   " Well ya but I have ice too." 

   " We should go tell our parents that we're ok."

   " How are we going to get back. Its more than a mile back to the farm.

   "  We'll have to walk."

   " Unless... BANG!  OWWWWWWW...  nope cant fly."

   " OMG. Dustin are you ok?"

   " Ya..."

   " Lets go. Wait I call destroying the tree."

   " Ok... lets see what you can do."

   WHOOSH! Ice split through the tree as fast as lightning.

   " WOW. Well I guess we know what power Sydney has. Good job.

ABOUT AN HOUR LATER

   "Were almost there. A little bit more. How come were so out of breath."

  " Mabey its because we've been blasting everything."

  "  We know Daphne has snow. Dustin has frigid wind. Sydney has ice. And Madeline has fire and..."

  " Well I have been trying but I can only get fire out of my hands."

  " Look... there's the house!"

  " Yes! I'm so tired of walking."

  "  Hey, we're home!"

 " Why aren't they talking to us."

 " What the heck? Hello?"

  WOOSH  "Whoa... she went right through me."

 "What is happening?"

 " We must be invisible,because were not dead. I have a pulse."

 " What are we then?"

 " Wait guys come up here."

We followed Sydney upstairs to her room. "Ok so I read this book on legends and myths, it says something about Ice Powers..."

 " Ok Sid we are not myths we are real people. We just need to find out what is happening to us. Why we are invisible and stuff. OK? In the mean time we should go back to the forest and make up camp."

  "Why the forest?"

  " Just incase we become visible or we accidently shoot ice and that's visible. I mean we don't want to scare anyone or hurt anyone."

   " Lets go."
