Once again, I love all my Z so much, there is hardly a single moment I can really describe as my absolute favourite. So, since I don't really want to offend any of the games, I shall list my top three in each of the games I've played. Because we all know there's that one point where you just think wow that was awesome, wow I'm gonna die, wow i wanna cry, etc. in like EVERY FRIKIN' GAME. So, let's get cracking.
Games are in the order I FINISHED them in, moments in no particular order...
Twilight Princess-
So many good memories... Okay, here we go
1. Credits Scene/ OH. MY. GOSH. This was literally the hardest thing. My first game finished. Epic(and long) final boss battle finished. World saved. Cookies for everyone. Etcetera. And then it goes and ends on a CLIFFHANGER!!!! My goodness, totally awesome. Totally worth it. It was amazing to sorta see what happened, and yet, to not. I just... no words can describe that feeling.
2. Midna's First Appearance/ Okay, I cannot be the only one who thought wtf is that?!?!? when she first popped up on the screen with no real context. Then she frees you from prison and makes you her 'slave'. Yeah right. Still, one of the best ways they introduced a companion. Certainly better than Navi's and Tatl's.
3. Armogohma's Second Phase/ Once you get used to the boss battle victory music, it's kinda hard to accept that the battle is not truly over... Yeah, this boss freaked me out the first time it...well...you know. Just, it was so weird and so, well, surprising. Great moment right there.
Quick note- one word: OOK. W. T. F. NINTENDO?
Majora's Mask-
1. Moon Falling/ You see that picture up top? Yeah, that haunted me every day when i was playing MM. It wasn't that the moon falling was really a moment in the sense of the word that it was a single part. No, I just loved the fact that you just couldn't let the moon fall. It created great suspense throughout the game and it was probably the reason I finished the game so fast. Awesome stuff.
2. Finally Getting the Fierce Deity Mask/ No words... Just joy and that kickass feeling you have when you put it on. I even found the easiest way to wear it outside of boss battles. Love that mask.
3. Instruments/ Again, not really a moment. Just getting to rock out on the guitar, play the bongos, blow the pipes, idk it was just fun.
Honourable Mention- Credits Scene again
Ocarina of Time-
1. Receiving the Ocarina of Time/ If you slow down the throw to you from Zelda as she's fleeing, you can see the reflection of Adult Link in the Ocarina. *claps* Well done Nintendo. Well done.
2. Sheik Appearing out of NOWHERE/ Excuse me, I was not aware the Song of Soaring could be used in this game... Loved Sheik tho
3. Bunny Hood Disappointment/ if you've played MM and OoT, 'nuf said.
A Link Between Worlds-
1. Ravio/ Just... Ravio though. By far the best character in this slightly boring game. Great for laughs and I love how he was Link's complete opposite.
2. Majora's Mask on the Wall/ Don't even try to guess the number of times I've tried coming out of the wall, trying to put it on. It's embarrassing, but I had to try...
3. Yuga/ Just freaking Yuga... Don't even know if it's a guy or a girl and I honestly don't care...
Wind Waker-
1. Forgetting Your Birthday/ Totally me, half asleep and with no idea what's going on
2. Invisible Hero's Cloths/ So, I didn't know this, but once you beat the game, you can select to start the game over and get this cool looking file on the title screen that's gold instead of green and has a Triforce on it. That's the only difference I can spot between my first play through and my second except for one thing: when Grandma gives you your tunic in that file, it's invisible! I was just laughing at his expression, him putting them on, oh my gosh, it was hilarious. I loved fighting monsters in a 12-year old's lobster pajamas...
3. Talking Boat/ Link just freaks out... Funny
Honourable Mention- the statues exploding when Link goes for a closer look... You remember😂
Another Honourable Mention- the 'unimpressed' face
Spirit Tracks-
1. Song of the Birds/ Idk, I just liked walking around with a dove on my head... I'm weird like that
2. Sacred Duet/ LET'S BEAT MALADUS WITH MUSIC!!!
3. Mice/ When Zelda just freaks out, even though she's a ghost in a giant suit of armour, she still doesn't like harmless mice... Thanks, Miss Wisdom...
Skyward Sword-
1. Link & Zelda/ This couple... Either trying to kill each other or save each other, but sometimes you just couldn't tell...
2. Groose/ "Nice hair"
3. Scrapper/ "Mister Shortpants" 😂😂😂 what even???
