I was at chucky cheese with my family. I was having so much fun. My sisters and I were getting a whole bunch of tickets. "Riley!! It's time to go." My mom called. "Come on girls, it's time to go" I told my sisters. We walked over to my parents and I could tell that there was something wrong. Oh well. There's always tension between my parents. We walked to the car and got in. It took us about twenty minutes to get home. We walked in the house and I was going up stairs with my sisters when my dad called family meeting. We never have have family meeting so I knew something big was about to happen. Some part of me thought it was good. We all sat down on the couch in front of my parents. "Do you want to tell them?" My dad asked my mom. "No you wanted it" answered my mom. "Girls, your mom and I are getting a divorce" my dad told us. I didn't know what to think. All I could do was smile. My sisters had no idea what that meant. We sat there for a couple of minutes to let it sink in. After about half an hour my dad left.
After a couple of days everything made sense. That is why my dad never came home after work. I didn't really think anything of it after that. I went to school and continued my regular routine. Every other weekend we would go to my dad's house. It was fine. Nothing really happened. Except one weekend, we were at my dad's house and I saw him talking on skype with a woman. I didn't know her. In fact I've never seen her in my life. After that weekend was over we went back to my mom's house. I told her what I saw and she wasn't very happy about it.
