Dom and Letty

I have to go

Letty had been with the gang for a couple of hours, and they all just sat and had a good laugh. Letty had herd her phone beep now and again but she left it until she was alone,

"Letty what did you find out?" it was Owens voice she herd,

"im not doing this for you, im not finding anything for you I just want to be left alone I will be back tomorrow morning!" Letty said hanging up and walking to the others,

"hey, Letty I wanna show you something!" Dom said, they walked to the elevator and went down to the garage,

"why you taking me here?"

"just wait, and you will see!" they got to the bottom floor and the garage was massive and had about 100 cars in it, they walked all the way to the back where a car sat with a cover over it. Letty looked around this was the only car that was covered,

"why is it covered?" Letty asked,

"this is the most special car to me, because only two people have drove it!"

"who?"

"my old man and one person that is so special to me right in this room!" he said smiling at her, she looked to the floor tucking her hair behind her ear, "wanna take a look?" she nodded, "you can do the honours!" he said she grabbed the sheet and pulled it off, she stood staring at a pitch black 1969 dodge charger, looking amazed, she went a little dizzy and started hearing things in her mind, she saw the car, she saw Dom and she saw what happened 5 years ago when she drove the car. Then it stopped. She looked at Dom,

"are you ok?" she didn't say anything she just nodded and smiled, they sat down and talked for ten minutes,

"you're the reason this car is like this, all new."

"how me?"

"after I left you came home and you wouldn't let them get rid of it. Mia said you were in the garage day and night, people say that is weird as if you knew I was coming back. But you did, didn't you?"

"Dom I cant remember!"

"I know you knew I was coming back, Brian knew you knew I was coming back. Can you remember going to see Brian that day?" Letty thought hard, but shook her head,

"you wanna go for a ride?" Dom said, throwing her the keys

"in that? Yeah! This time you drive!" she said, throwing him the keys back,

"Letty, I can't..." she cut him off

"trust me, I know you can!" they got in the car and drove off, "trust me, trust yourself, trust the road!" Letty said smiling at him, they stopped at a red light Dom made the engine ROAR as loud as he could making them both laugh,

Letty showed Dom where to go,

"where we going?"

"just wait, and you will see!"

They drove for another 10 minutes and finally came to a stop, they were at the beech,

"I wanna show you something!" they walked and stopped at the top of a cliff, Letty sat down and Dom sat opposite and all Dom could think of was when they did this in LA. The perfect moment. He sat looking at Letty,

"is something wrong?" Letty asked

"there is a billion things wrong but not in this moment," Dom said, "I missed you!" Letty smiled,

"Dom?" Letty said looking up at him,

"yeah?"

"how long have we known each other?"
