Chapter 6

Chloe's POV
Alight I just called my dance teacher and friends to my house to tell them what my decision is. I thought I should do it in person, so I could see their expressions. After waiting about a half hour everyone got here. I'm nervous to tell everyone because I don't know how they are going to react, but like I said before its MY decision.

"Ok mom, dad, Emma, David, and Mrs. Lindsey, thanks for coming on so short notice. I wanted to tell you my decision about NYC ballet. So you all know that my deadline to make up my mind is tomorrow so I decided to tell you guys today." Chloe announced

David's POV
I really don't know what I'll do if she decides to go! I like her so much I want to be with her, but I can't if she's all the way in New York! And I don't want to tell her now because that would just add more pressure on her is she decides to go. I just have to hope and pray she decides not to. Even though it a great opportunity, everything would be better if she stayed!

"So my decision is..."

"Wait!" David shouted

"What is it?" Chloe questioned

"I um like..."

"Like what?"

"I would um like to run to the bathroom before you announce your decision! Sorry I can't wait!"

"Ugh really David?! Hurry!"

"Ok, ok!"

David's POV
I really didn't have to go to the bathroom. I was just gonna tell her I liked her right then and there but I chickened out again! Now at least I have some more time to think if she decides to go.

"Alright since David's back, shall I continue?"

"Yes." Everyone said in unison

"Ok so I decided to...take the offer and go to NYC!!!!!!!"

"OMG yay! Emma shouted and hugged Chloe

"I'm so happy for you sweetheart, you won't regret it!" Her parents told her

"We will really miss you at BAP, but I'm very happy for you Chloe, you made the right decision!" Mrs. Lindsey stated

Chloe's POV
Everyone seemed very happy, but David. It's weird! He just sat there and didn't say a thing. Was he okay? I don't know! He's been acting pretty strange lately maybe I should talk to him again.

"Hey Davi-"

"Oh sorry I got to go my mom needs me to pick my little sister up from um basketball practice. Sorry congrats though!"

Chloe's POV
Ok, that was weird! And you know what's even weirder?! His sister doesn't even play basketball! She plays soccer! I know something is going on! Maybe since everyone left except Emma I would talk to her about it but first I have to call NYC ballet and tell them.

"Ring, ring, ring"

"Hello" They answered

"Hi, this is Chloe Carelson I wanted to tell you that I will be attending your school!"

"Great! See you tomorrow then!"

"Yes, thank you!"

"No problem!"

Chloe's POV
Glad that was easy now time to talk to Emma!

"Hey Emm, can I talk to you real quick?" Chloe asked

"Ya sure what's up?"

"Ok so David has been acting really weird lately!"

"Ya I've noticed that!"

"Ya so I don't know what to do. It's like he doesn't want me to go to NYC! And I understand he'll miss me, I'll miss you guys to like crazy, but he can't be THAT upset!"

"I really don't think that's the reason. Sure he'll miss you, I will too, A LOT! But there must be another reason, like his sister doesn't even play basketball!"

"Right! I thought that to! Should I call him?"

"Ya, I think so."

"Ok I will..."

"Ok so it rang twinge then went to voicemail, which means he declined it!" I said

"Yep he definitely did!"

"Ugh I don't know what to do!"

"Just don't worry about it! David had been your friend forever, I'm sure he'll come see you before you leave tomorrow!"

"Ya, thanks Emm your the best!"

"Welcome, kk got to go see you tomorrow to say goodbye!" Emma said tearing up

"OMG Emma don't cry you'll make me cry!"

"I'm sorry I'll just miss you so much!"

"I'll miss you to but I'll call you everyday! Promise!"

"Ok good, see you tomorrow!"

"Kk bye!"

Emma's POV
This whole thing with David is weird! I think he's being rude. He already knows how hard this is for Chloe to leave all of us and he's not helping! Does he maybe like her? Is that why this is so hard for him!!!??? Eh, I doubt it!

David's POV
I feel really bad for leaving like that but I couldn't stay any longer or everyone would see how upset I was! But I know what to do to let Chloe know how I feel! Hopefully it goes well!
