On 1865, Lincoln was at the Ford's Theatre in a room with Mary Todd Lincoln, Clara Harris and Henry Rathbone. They were speaking, when John came by the back and put a bullet into Lincoln's head, leaving him unconscious in the floor. Lincoln died on April 15, 1865, at the age of 56. Booth after being on the run for 12 days, Booth was tracked down and found on a farm in Virginia, some 70 miles (110 km) south of Washington. After refusing to surrender to Union troops, Booth was killed by Sergeant Boston Corbett on April 26. Lincoln has been memorialized in many town, city, and county names, including the capital of Nebraska. The most famous and most visited memorials are the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.; Lincoln's sculpture on Mount Rushmore, Ford's Theatre and Petersen House (where he died) in Washington and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, located in Springfield, Illinois, not far from Lincoln's home and his tomb. There was also the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln exhibit in Disneyland, and the Hall of Presidents at Walt Disney World, which had to do with Walt Disney admiring Lincoln ever since he was a little boy.
