The Way Brothers

Janet's POV

Well my best friend just moved in with me yesterday and so far it's awesome. She came to New Jersey all the way from Wisconsin. I'm surprised her parents let her. She's only sixteen. So am I.

Tomorrow will be both of our's first day of school. Sarah's parents said she can only move in with me if my mom agrees to sending her to public school. I've always been home schooled so I'm nervous about going to public school. But atleast I'll have Sarah there with me. We already called the school and asked if Sarah and I can all the same classes together and they agreed. That makes me feel a lot better. But I can't help but feel nervous with this stupid anxiety.

Sarah and I are sitting in my room talking about tomorrow.

"I hope we find some nice people when we get there. And hopefully all the bullies stay away from us." Sarah said nervously.

"Yeah. Hopefully." I reply.

Sarah's POV

I'm so nervous about going to school tomorrow. Janet and I will be new there and we'll probably get bullied by all the preppy girls and jocks.

Janet and I have been talking so much that we didn't realize that it's dark outside.

We went and grabbed a quick bite to eat then got ready for bed.

"Good night Janet." "Good night Sarah." We said telling each other good night.

We woke up this morning a little early so we decide to go ahead and put on our eyeliner and mascara.

"You look beautiful Sarah." Janet complements me.

"So do you Janet."

"Thanks!" Janet said cheerfully.

"You're welcome. And thanks."

"You're welcome."

We get up and get dressed then walk outside to the bus stop and wait patiently for the bus.

"Good morning young ladies. You two new here?" The bus driver said as we stepped on the bus.

"Well I am. Janet has lived here her whole life. She was home schooled." I answered.

"Oh. Okay. Well I will need you two to get a bus note from the office today so you can ride my bus." the bus driver said nicely.

"Okay."

We take a seat in the middle of the bus because we don't want to be too close to cheerleaders and jocks in the back of the bus.

The ride to school was miserable. I had my ear buds in and my music playing as loud as possible and I could still here the screaming of little kids in the from of the bus.

"We're almost to school. I'm getting really nervous." Janet said.

"Just calm down. I'm right here. And the nice lady in the office agreed to us having all the same classes together. So don't worry." I said trying to calm her down. She has anxiety problems like me so I cam see why it's bothering her so much.

I'm getting nervous too as we drive into the high school bus entrance. I really hope we find some nice people here.
